JOB DESCRIPTION:
To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics and Davits.
REQUIREMENTS:
To carry out field service attendances to troubleshoot & repair cranes, Grabs, Windlasses, Hatch Cover Hydraulics and Davits.
The successful candidate will have solid working experience with Crane and repair machinery makers such as:
MacGREGOR
IHI
MITSUBISHI
LIEBHERR
TTS
TSUJI
HATLAPA
PUSNES, NIPPON PUSNES etc.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE ALSO:
1. Experience in Inspection and Troubleshooting:
minimum of 3 years of experience in inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing hydraulic systems, which is relevant to process industries that often utilize similar hydraulic machinery for operations.
2. Knowledge of PLC and Electro-Hydraulic Systems:
In-depth knowledge of PLC-controlled electro-hydraulic systems, as process industries frequently employ automation and control systems to enhance operational efficiency.
3. Reading Technical Diagrams:
The ability to read and comprehend electric and hydraulic diagrams, where understanding complex systems is essential for maintenance and troubleshooting.
4. Independent Problem Solving:
Stress the capability to independently troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical problems, which is vital in process industries where downtime can lead to significant losses.
5. Supervisory Skills:
The experience in supervising a team of mechanics and leading large repair projects can be translated to managing teams in process industries, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and safely.
6. Technical Reporting and Communication:
The ability to write technical reports and communicate effectively with stakeholders is important in process industries for maintaining compliance and ensuring that all parties are informed about project statuses.
7. Additional Skills:
Mentioning experience with variable frequency drives (VFD) is particularly relevant, as VFDs are commonly used in process industries for controlling motor speeds and improving energy efficiency.
