About the role:

• Demonstrate the ability to lead technical projects from concept through implementation in collaboration with the Process Engineering team.
• Perform activities such as incoming goods inspection (IGI), FAT/SAT, and installation verification for new equipment and modifications to existing equipment.
• Assist with the execution of qualification protocols for IQ and OQ.
• Support all phases of engineering project implementation to ensure alignment with scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Be capable of reading and understanding PCS7 Functional Specifications, ensuring they are fit-for-purpose and aligned with business needs.
• Coordinate with the Automation team, as well as with manufacturing and MSAT teams, for improvements or implementing changes related to software FAT.
• Collaborate with engineering consultant firms and process engineers to support and complete tasks within the schedule for new and modified equipment, including:
  o Reviewing P&IDs, standard detail drawings, URS, etc.
  o Involving in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of all process equipment, when applicable.
  o Coordinating inspection site installation of new equipment upon delivery.
  o Reviewing Vendor Turnover Packages and Construction Trade Turnover Packages.
  o Reviewing functional specifications.
  o Participating in Software FAT using PCS7, if applicable.
  o Assisting in commissioning and qualification of new or modified equipment in Cell Culture or Downstream (Purification) areas, including reviewing and executing C&Q documents.

About you:
• 3 to 5+ years of experience in Upstream/Downstream bioprocess operations and demonstrated experience in equipment design within the pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in an engineering role supporting cGMP operations in a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical manufacturing plant is highly desirable.
• Experience in the design and operation of biopharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Experience in the management and coordination of engineering and construction management consultants, equipment vendors, and contractors.

Key Skills and Competencies:
• Process and equipment knowledge of biological drug substance manufacturing processes; expertise in downstream unit operations is highly preferable.
• Knowledge/experience in change control management and deviation investigation & closure.
• Understanding of equipment commissioning, various stages of qualification, and process activities.
• Thorough knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Good Engineering Practices (GEP).

About our client: Our client is a leading international chemical manufacturing company.

About the role: The Production Engineer is responsible for improving the production technology of the upcoming plant.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures, and operation condition sheets in consultation with Production Superintendent and Day Supervisors from Operation.
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utility consumption.
• Manage and improve process control system (DCS, SIS) and process data logging system.
• Support trial production and test run of new grades, new processes and equipment with the Production Technology Engineer.
• With a feasibility study, optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization, and energy conservation. Then, conduct the necessary field tests to verify the result.
• Provide technical support for Silo & Packaging process, including corrective measures for customer complaints in a technical viewpoint
• Lead process safety assessment (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) and support HSE department technically.
• Submit reports’ findings and recommend modification, improvement, and potential investment projects such as debottlenecking, and environmental and cost reduction activities (i.e. reduction or more efficient usage of utilities).
• Coordinate with the technical section for process simulation, evaluation, investigation, performance & yield optimization
• Perform basic engineering design for all potential investment projects, prepare marked-up P&IDs and the required technical information for cost estimation purposes.

About you:

• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
