Key Responsibilities

• Define manufacturing processes and estimates for new project introductions (RFQs).
• Design and define die cutting tooling.
• Prepare Process & Manufacturing documentation such as CAD Drawings, BOM, ECN, Control Plans, and Working Instructions.
• Evaluate manufacturing processes based on quality criteria, including efficiency, speed, and cost.
• Provide support for production troubleshooting and manage production delays.

As a Senior Equipment Engineer/Equipment Engineer in the NTI, you will be expected to support R&D activities associated with rapid deployment of First-of-Kind equipment, the CIP hardware evaluations and managing on the timeline needed to deploy in current technode/next advance technode on time. This position plays a critical role in advancing sustainable protein solutions for urban environments through interdisciplinary collaboration, drawing expertise from mechanical engineering, mechatronics, and food engineering. This is a 1-year contract with the possibility of extension after the first year.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a closed-loop control system to synchronize high-moisture extrusion and shape manipulator systems with a seamless integration and quality assurance.
• Integrate a variety of non-invasive sensors for a continuous and active monitoring on a food shape manipulator system.
• Develop and adapt custom firmware to integrate extrusion, in-line monitoring and control system with software protocols.
