Position Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for daily cloud operations and cloud implementations in technical customer engagements. This includes managing basic operations, administration, and specific cloud implementation projects or pilots. This is a project-facing/delivery role. You will work closely with projects to ensure efficient cloud infrastructure management and collaborate with the team to deliver innovative and scalable solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Operations: Execute daily cloud operations including administration, configuration, and maintenance of cloud environments.

Cloud Implementations: Lead and participate in cloud implementation projects and pilots.

Performance & Security: Ensure all configurations adhere to high standards of performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.

Automation: Codify and implement/deploy configurations using automation tools like Ansible, CloudFormation, Terraform, etc. Automation by default with proper documentation is highly preferred.

Cloud Migrations: Participate in cloud migration projects for virtual machines (VMs) and databases using tools like Cloud Endure, Azure Migrate, etc. Experience with migrating more than 20 VMs is preferred.

Project Collaboration: Engage with project in operational meetings, providing expert advice, troubleshooting, and process improvement recommendations.

Knowledge Sharing: Stay updated on market trends, cloud technologies, and competitive insights. Share knowledge within the technical community.

Issue Resolution: Resolve technical issues promptly and provide detailed documentation as per service-level agreements (SLAs).

Requirements:

Requirements:

· Degree in any Engineering discipline with minimum 3 years of experience in software development in the automation / semiconductor industry

· Strong programming skills in C / C++

· Must have good hands-on experience in programming multi-threaded windows application using Visual C++

· Good knowledge of electronic components, motion control and interfacing with inspection systems

· Strong Mathematical and Algorithmic development skills

· Able to travel overseas for field support when required

The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design of the electrical system and electrical system inspection. He/She manages a team of technical supervisors and manages the project timeline. He/She works indoors, outdoors and occasionally, in cramped spaces. He/She will have to stand for long hours, climb, bend and kneel on-site for inspection and project coordination. He/She is also expected to be detail oriented to ensure safety on job.

Purpose: Provide the fabrication steps & process time to calculate the cost of the part. This includes assessing whether the design provided is machinable, the availability of machines or tools to support the requirements and proposing cost-efficient methods.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

• Provide machining process steps for quote submission to determine process cost calculation.
• Review the part drawings & specifications provided and consider the critical dimensions or process.
• Identify machining issues and provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) slides to highlight issues; present an alternative proposal when possible.
• Generate a drawing/list of the requirements before sending the Request for Quote (RFQ) to suppliers.
• Inform suppliers of requirements & stipulate a cost breakdown list. Ensure that suppliers meet the specified timeline.
• Provide Part Cost estimation for Outsource Build to Print (BTP) parts for the Commodity team to use as a price reference.
• Mentor new hires on operations and part calculation processes to ensure they receive the information and guidance needed to perform their jobs effectively.
• Support and participate in company continuous improvement program.

Qualifications & Experiences:

• Nitec/Dilpoma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in the Semiconductor or High precision equipment industry, with relevance to costing will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Solidworks or other computer-aid design software.
• Application of measuring equipment and techniques
• Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
