Reporting to the Manager, Engineering, the Process Engineer will provide technical guidance on packaging-related customer complaints, deviations and investigations, as well as develop and participates in continuous process improvement activities to enhance packaging performance metrics. This position reports to the Vice President of Automation Manufacturing Technology (AMT), Integrated Operations Network (ION), and is responsible for effectively leading the collaboration with business units across TE to achieve productivity and gross margin improvement that are aligned with TE strategy. The successful candidate is responsible for developing and executing the AI strategy to integrate and optimize the inhouse and external resources by influences. The person in this position must charter a strong AI related talent network among business units and AMT on transforming innovation practices into robust application processes with scaling up implementations. This role will leverage the leader’s experience in AI, manufacturing, assembly, and general management to build a strong network and increase the competitiveness in AI related advanced assembly, automation, and manufacturing technologies for TE.

Requirements:

The key functions of Process Engineer is to:

1. Applies Engineering principles and techniques to optimise production process in the fab to meet department and organization goals and objectives

2. Analyse and troubleshoots process engineering, manufacturing, and maintenance issues, and recommend engineering solutions or developed work instructions for out of control processes

• Create SPC charts, DCOP and modify SLDB using PROMIS (Si-View).
• Upload recipe, check recipe and ensure recipe content compliance using RMS.
• Follow up on SPSR, MRB, 8D, TECN, or spec update with ECN. Provide guidance to junior Engineers.
• Setup and troubleshoot issues in recipes/ job files in all metrology tools within the Module.

• Work as a team with both Equipment and Manufacturing Engineers to meet Module objectives. Drive team to meet key indices of Uptime and OEE as per the goals set for these indices.
• Take on leadership roles to drive a small cross functional task team to address yield improvement/ excursion issues.

• Process Systems Engineer II is recognized within Takeda as technical subject matter expert (SME) for designated systems for the Singapore Biologics Manufacturing facility from a systems perspective.
• Process Systems engineer II is an integral member of the Singapore Process Engineering Team, he/she reports into the Process Systems Engineering Lead/Process Engineering Manager.
• Process Systems engineer II interacts closely with the Manufacturing supervisors to ensure that all Systems engineering activities are delivered to support reliable and robust manufacturing operations.

How you will contribute:

• Act as system technical owner for Upstream, Downstream equipment’s and other unit operations and acting as primary engineering liaison between the system business owner and engineering.
• Lead the engineering remediation activities on designated systems (Deviations, complex Corrective Maintenance, hardware fault finding) which include generating necessary RA, Job Plans together with Engineering Operations.
• Lead Quality Event (Deviation) process and ensure timely creation, analysis and closure of events

• Create Corrective Maintenance job plans in CMMS and change controls as needed for complex CM that has potential quality/product impact.
