• Carry out design safety philosophy, HSE Plan, and specifications for fire protection systems (active and passive), HFE, etc

• Act as Package Engineer for safety and fire fighting equipment
• Manage and guide Junior/ Senior Engineers and Designers on Concept/FEED/Detailed Engineering projects
• Provide health and environmental inputs (including health risk assessments such as chemical exposure, noise and lighting, ergonomics/Human Factors Engineering, environmental impact assessments, etc.) to projects
• Interface/coordinate with other Engineering disciplines and clients, and take the lead in resolving technical matters related to safety aspects
• Able to deliver project safety deliverables as per project schedule
• Provide inputs and support to projects in all safety aspects, including progress reports

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university
• Minimum of 15 years of HSE engineering experience in the Oil and Gas industry, in process safety/technical safety, and has worked a minimum of 4-5 years in a Lead position on similar projects
• Involved in design projects for offshore (FPSO/Platforms) and onshore (Refineries, LNG facilities, Storage terminals, etc.)
• Should have worked on a minimum number of offshore projects (FPSO/Platforms)
• Possess good knowledge of Oil and Gas process facilities, local and international process safety codes and standards, and regulatory/marine codes and standards (MODU, SOLAS, DNV/Lloyds Register)

• Process Systems Engineer II is recognized within Takeda as technical subject matter expert (SME) for designated systems for the Singapore Biologics Manufacturing facility from a systems perspective.

How you will contribute:

• Act as system technical owner for Upstream, Downstream equipment’s and other unit operations and acting as primary engineering liaison between the system business owner and engineering.
• Lead the engineering remediation activities on designated systems (Deviations, complex Corrective Maintenance, hardware fault finding) which include generating necessary RA, Job Plans together with Engineering Operations.
• Lead Quality Event (Deviation) process and ensure timely creation, analysis and closure of events

• Create Corrective Maintenance job plans in CMMS and change controls as needed for complex CM that has potential quality/product impact.
• Review standard operating procedures (SOPs) for process equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance (PM) checklists

• Participate as Process Engineering representative on cross functional support team meetings.

Requirements

• Master degree or higher in Materials Science, Chemical/Microelectronic Engineering, or Physics with minimum 2 years hands-on experience in leading edge film deposition/CVD deposition/implant technology work.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate existing processes, record measurements, and interpret data, specifically focusing on SCADA system operations to align with the company’s digitalization goals.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to ensure operational safety and compliance.
• Research, design, and develop processes to optimize productivity and workflow within the facility.
• Oversee the operations and maintenance of facility processes to ensure they run smoothly and efficiently.
• Determine the organization and setup of operations to improve process efficiency.
• Manage the implementation of new processes and procedures within the plant.
• Investigate and troubleshoot any issues that arise with processes, procedures, and operations to prevent downtime and losses.
• Develop best practices, routines, and innovative solutions to enhance throughput and the quality of output.
• Manage cost and time constraints to ensure projects and process improvements are cost-effective and timely.
• Provide detailed process documentation and operating instructions to promote standardization and understanding among staff.
• Actively participate in and perform Process Safety Management (PSM) and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP) to maintain safety and operational standards.
• Serve as a turnkey manager to plan and execute plant shutdowns, minimizing impact on production.

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the process industry.
• Strong working knowledge of process-related standards, process improvement, and safety management.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and execute all assigned validation and re-validation protocols, as well as engineering study protocols.
• Monitor and manage the validation and re-validation status of machines and systems.
• Monitor machine performance to ensure high quality and yield results.
• Improve process performance to maintain product quality and quantity.
• Ensure calibration compliance at all times to adhere to Quality System Regulation (QSR).
• Document and prepare monthly, bi-yearly, and annual calibration of requirements and tools.
• Support engineering team members and other departments with projects, yield improvement, validation activities, troubleshooting and engineering studies.
• Annually qualify and re-certify the sterilizers used in production.

Requirements:

• A degree in any engineering field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Process Engineer in the medical device manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in mechanical and/or electrical engineering.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
