• Implement quality assurance procedures to ensure that all engineering work meets project requirements and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
• Monitor project costs related to engineering and construction activities, assisting in budget forecasting and control.
• Support project scheduling efforts, ensuring that engineering tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with local, regional, and national building codes and healthcare regulations.
• Identify and resolve engineering issues during construction, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Prepare progress reports and presentations for project management, highlighting key engineering developments and challenges.

Requirements:

• Min Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Min 3 -5 years of experience as a Project Engineer in a construction or healthcare projects
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
• Willing to relocate to Hong Kong during project duration.

• To review all Authority's and Contractor's drawings
• To provide all relevant endorsements required by the relevant authorities
• Supervise all civil, structural and geotechnical building works, both permanent and temporary
• To ensure that contractor had obtained all necessary permits and clearance to work
• To conduct site inspection and ensure that contractor(s) implement corrective actions and timely preventive/mitigation measures to protect surrounding structures
• Coordinate the contractor, AC, QP(D), and relevant agencies, including interfacing contractors and consultants etc for the works
• To review, evaluate and assess all formwork structures, formwork support systems etc
• To review and supervise safety, environmental and health matters
• To supervise the installation of instrumentation
• To supervise sanitary and plumbing installations, pump drainage works etc
• To review, evaluate and assess the monitoring of instrumentation and interpretation of the results and provide analytical results/presentations
• To review the Contractor's design and supervise all works

Criteria:

- Min 3 years of experience in Cut & Cover tunnelling or supervision of installation of monitoring instruments, collation of monitoring data and use of software for the presentation of monitoring data for analysis and interpretation.

- Diploma in Civil and Structural Engineering

- Possess a valid RTO cert by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS Singapore

We are looking for a self-motivated trainee Site engineer/ Utility Detection Specialist (LCDW/TCDW) at our company. Our trainee engineers will form part of an integrated team and should be comfortable working well with the rest of our admin and drafter teams.

To be successful as a Utility detection engineer, you should stay up-to-date with detection methods, software, and advancements. Engineers must demonstrate attention to detail and have sound knowledge of the discipline.

- Oversee and carry out projects assigned to you

- Operating electromagnetic cable locator to detect and locate underground services (training will be provided)

- Liaising with drafter and admin staff to carry out projects

- Going to various sites to carry out projects

- Communicating and liaising with clients on their project

- Company transport will be provided (need to have class 2B or class 3 license)
