• Experience with markup languages (XML)
• Knowledge of communication protocols in general, such as SNMP, HTTP or serial
• Knowledge of databasing (e.g., Apache Cassandra, Elasticsearch)
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, multithreading, Web Services (REST, SOAP), and JSON is a definite plus
• Knowledge of C# is a plus
• Interest in the telecom and broadcast industry (e.g. HFC broadband, IPTV, broadcast, cable, satellite systems…)

Role Purpose:

To independently determine and prepare the Requisitions for packages of mechanical

components and / or equipment that are required in a project, assists in evaluating the technical aspects of bids and executing in order to deliver the packages on time and to ensure that the packages meet the technical requirements.

Key Accountabilities:

Technical requirements-

Understands the specifications and requirements in the area of mechanical packaged equipment and system (such as

Chemical Injection package, Scrubber, Utility Compressor,Pumps, etc.,) of the assigned package. - Responsible for Mechanical

Design of packaged equipment in compliance with applicable International codes ASME, API etc.,

Engineering document preparation -

Independently develops technical specifications/standards and Requisitions for packaged equipment and system such as

Chemical Injection package, Scrubber, Utility Compressor, Pumps, etc.,

Supplier selection-

Independently evaluates the technical aspects of bids received from suppliers and concludes assessment to the bide. Generally, less

complex packages and middle risk equipment are assigned.

Supplier management -

Assists in placing and executing the orders. After orders, independently reviews Supplier documents (such as data sheets,

drawings) for their completeness, accuracy and compliance. Being the focal point, liaises and coordinates with various stakes holders.

Support for other discipline -

Provides technical/engineering support/visit and advice for quality work at supplier shop and Construction/Commissioning work at site

Technical issue resolution -

Independently resolves technical issues using expert knowledge and technical know-how that may arise during the execution of package engineering, fabrication and post-delivery.

Compliance with HSSEQ policies -

To ensure business activities and decisions conform to the laws and regulations and demonstrates high standard of ethical behavior.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

- Minimum 10 years of relevant working experience in Mechanical engineering in oil and gas sector, preferable experience in FPSO, off-shore application

- Possess relevant experience working on EPC projects

- Shall be conversant with design standards and International Industry Codes such as ASME, API, etc.

- Proficency in written and spoken English and Japaneses.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the project lifecycle of infrastructure setup and implementation for our clients.
• Designing and implementing infrastructure solutions, incorporating multi/hybrid cloud design principles.
• Continuously researching and evaluating new solutions and technologies, integrating insights and recommendations into the development process.
• Demonstrating expertise in the products and solutions of major Cloud Service Providers.
• Specialising in best practices for the design, operations, and support of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure, covering Network, Storage, Compute, and Security.
• Identifying potential and emerging technologies with relevance to innovation for the company.

Requirements:

• Diploma/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 4 years' experience in the design, implementation, and consulting of private/public/hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.Hands-on experience and robust technical skills with a proven track record in IT infrastructure and/or emerging IT technologies engineering, specifically in Platform, Storage, Virtualisation, and Cloud infrastructure.Strong working knowledge and the ability to apply architecture concepts, frameworks, and methodologies to projects.
• Experience in business and technical analysis, architecture design, and project management.
• Possession of PMP and ITIL certifications are considered an added advantage.
