Position: Facilities / Utilities Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Facilities / Utilities Engineer on site with a client. In summary, you will be supporting the Continuous Improvement culture in the department. The role is part of the Engineering Compliance & Support team which plays a critical role in serving the Facilities & Engineering department in ensuring quality & compliance in its operations and business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement efforts in F&E, measuring labour productivity and identifying opportunities to increase productivity and establishing appropriate metrics and measuring systems.
• Support Change Management efforts for major functional initiatives & F&E Lean Transformation certification.
• Maintain appropriate visual boards and measuring systems for daily management.
• Manage departmental Business Performance metrics and provide reporting and escalations to the F&E leadership.
• Develop and manage F&E risk mitigation and Business Continuity Plans and disaster recovery modules, including risk management and business impact analysis
• Define digital initiatives, implement digital solutions, and deliver expected business outcome.
• Provide effective coordination within the project working group and collaborate well with external functions.
• Manage the day-to-day project activities and resources and chairs the project management team meetings.
• Continuously evaluate the status of project, and regularly report the status to key stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of directly related experience in a pharmaceutical manufacturing site.
• Familiar with documentation in a highly regulated environment
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Good understanding in customer's voice and quality requirements is a must
• Strong team player, able to effectively work within and across teams
• Ability to tactfully negotiate and positively influence peers, knowledge and experience in digitalization are added advantages

Job Role/Level Associate Engineer, Contracts

▪ To assist in coordination and logistics management of:

o Staff security clearance matters

o Client device delivery

o Client device staging and image distribution

o Client device deployment & OS upgrade scheduling

o Client device acceptance

o Submission of Declaration Form & billing (if any)

o Support Project Manager on administrative matters (eg. Purchase etc.)

▪ Track and compile project report regularly.

• Provide remote and on-site technical support, including but not limited to, Incident Management and Problem Management

Job Requirements:

• CCNP or CCIE in Enterprise is required

• Hands-on experience in installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco routers, wireless or switches

• Have some working knowledge of Cisco Routers, Switches, SD-WAN, DNA, Wireless products in addition to Meraki Switch, Router, Wireless products

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines

• At least 3 years of experience in a technical support environment working with Cisco products

• Experience with VMWare NSX and VMWare Load balancers, is an added advantage

• Knowledge of Aruba, Bluecoat, Ironport, F5, Checkpoint, Fortigate or Juniper products is also preferred

• Able to work in a 24x7 and team environment
