What will you do?

· Responsible for the infrastructure network design, implementation, testing, security, managing and maintenance of proposed system

· Work closely with Team Leader to meet system delivery milestones

· Provide technical documentation support to Project & Solutions Teams, as well as hand over as-built system documentation to Maintenance support team

· Engage with back-line support and/or with vendor’s support to diagnose and rectify technical problems.

· Assist in day-to-day operation of the System Delivery team

· Carry out other technical related duties that may be required.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Good understanding of network system, network architecture, routing, switching, firewall and security
• Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels
• Proficient in performing network analysis and troubleshooting using network and protocol analyzers
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science/Information Technology/Engineering or relevant field with network certification in CCNA/CCNP/CCIE
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in configuring and administering routers and switches (e.g. Cisco routers and switches, etc), firewall products (e.g. CheckPoint, Forcepoint, etc.), F5 Load Balancers, AAA, NTP, IPS

Responsibilities:

1. Design and implementation of a network.
2. LANs, WANs, and other network topologies are designed and implemented.
3. Evaluating and selecting hardware and software solutions to satisfy the organisation's needs.
4. Monitoring network performance and guaranteeing peak performance.
5. Routine maintenance and upgrades are performed to avoid downtime and security concerns.
6. Diagnosing and addressing network faults as soon as possible.
7. End-user technical assistance and collaboration with other IT teams to resolve issues.
8. Creating and updating extensive documentation on network setups, procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.
9. Working with other IT professionals, such as system administrators and security specialists, to maintain a cohesive IT environment.

Requirements and Skills: Network Engineer

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a closely related discipline is required.
2. 2+ years of experience in the required field.
3. Knowledge of networking protocols and technology.
4. Knowledge of network hardware (routers, switches, and firewalls) and software.
5. Relevant certifications (for example, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), CompTIA Network+).
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Excellent communication skills are required for efficient collaboration and user assistance.

Job Description:

• Work with application team on challenges to existing batch workflow in Automic and file transfer rule in IBM Sterling with tightened security and address BAU batch and file transfer issues.
• Support for Automic AWA and File Transfer BAU change requests, incidents, and IT projects.
• Support on Audit requirements for batch workflow in Automic and file transfer rule in IBM Sterling by providing detailed RFIs for the client Application systems.
• Support interface connectivity across client internal systems and connectivity with client external partners like Collection Agencies, Government Agencies etc.
• To perform SPS MSSL market trial on-boarding for the active Market Retailers as per User request.
• Support Automic Upgrade project for SIT and UAT Testing.
• Support the ITS SCO and applications team on SFX / Automic Skillset transformation by providing guidance in file transfer event setup and batch job design, creation, and modification.
• Automate the on-boarding and off-boarding trading partner in SFX.
• Improve the provisioning process for Automic and SFX project environment.
• Automate the migration process from QA to PROD for file routing rules.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Mechanical Engineering/Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
• At least 3+ years of Experience with Automic AWA for batch workflows and IBM Sterling for file transfers.
• Ability to resolve batch and file transfer issues and support BAU change requests.
• Knowledge of security requirements for batch workflows and file transfers.
• Experience supporting audit requirements and providing detailed RFIs.
• Ability to manage interface connectivity with internal systems and external partners (e.g., Collection Agencies).
• Experience in SPS MSSL market trial onboarding for Market Retailers.

1. Close supervision , management and execution of construction works at site, including monitoring work progress and quality.

2. Manage,vendors,contractors and sub-con for progression of works.

3. Resposible for all the site implementation and completion towards management target.

4. Resposible for the project quality and safety plan.

5. Laise with consultant and contractor for Green Mark Certification process.

6. Ensure company ISO safety system requirements are fully implemented on project.

7. Work closely with engineering team on any technical issues arising from site and lead the supervision and resolution of work on site.

8. Ensure proper documentation and record of site are carried out.

Responsibility

The holder of the position is mainly responsible for the following areas in coordination with his / her superior:

Design and build the DWH database models (star schema).

Manage the semantic model in Oracle Analytics Cloud to provide a unified view of our organization's data.

Manage application roles and access rights for end users including row level security filters, to protect sensitive data.

Work with ETL specialists, IT business Consulting as well as external vendors to ensure data ingestion and integration into the database model

Collaborate with Business Controlling and business counterparts on new reporting requirements.

Ensure data quality, security and compliance with industry standards and internal guidelines.

Ensure proper documentation of data infrastructure, data models, workflows as well as security concepts in accordance with internal security policies.

Skills

Looking for a Data Engineer more focused on Database modelling, Currently in Oracle environment and going forward with GCP stack.

Proficiency in SQL and data warehousing

Strong understanding of data modelling techniques and hands on experience building database models (star schema).

Expertise with ETL (extract, transform, load) processes. Familiarity with BI tool integration such as Tableau or Looker

Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
