SYSTEM ENGINEER
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The Test Engineer role in Q&T Facility is responsible for running tests for manufacturing and new product development teams in the center. The person needs to work closely with the test requestors to understand the testing requirements, test regime, conduct gap analysis, create, and execute a plan for completing tests in the facility. The role requires understanding of complex flow loops, auxiliary equipment’s such as pumps, motors, heaters, heat exchangers, compressors, and related power equipment’s such as switch gears, feeders, UPS, drives, transformers. Ability to understand the interfaces, cause, and effect and to act with agility in a safe manner in a very complex environment is a must.
- Experience and Competencies:
- Familiarity with reviewing inter-disciplinary drawings like GA, P&ID, Equipment Layout, piping codes
- Experience with flow loop and related auxiliary systems like Oil heaters, heat exchangers, cooling towers, gas booster systems, charge pumps, dynos are preferred
- Should possess adequate knowledge of risk assessment tools and proven experience of participating in HAZID/HAZOP/FMECA reviews
- Adept at managing vendors/contractors during construction, maintenance and upgrading works
- Knowledge and experience in programming and troubleshooting PLC logic design, implementation of SCADA projects, hands on experience in implementing and troubleshooting communication issues on Modbus ( TCP,RTU) and Profibus would be a plus
- Understand the theory and application of predictive maintenance technologies
- Very good documentation skills

Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Degree in Engineering
Experience: 2 to 5 years of related experience
Basic electrical safety knowledge
Good communication skills, fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
