Job Summary:

· The Civil Engineer assists the Construction Manager in performing engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of current upcoming Civil projects.

· The Civil Engineer shall supervise all civil, structural, and geotechnical building works, including structural elements for architectural work, building services, electrical and mechanical (M&E), and specialist engineering works for compliance with the PUB/LTA’s requirements and other authorities’ and agencies’ requirements for permanent works and temporary works.

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Co-ordinate meetings & daily briefings at work-site/locations.

2. To guide Juniors and supervise supervisors.

3. Equivalent Degree.

4. Minimum 2 to 3 years of working experience in Electrical Installation Works.

5. Related working experience in power and electrical industries.

6. Knowledge in relevant software and MS Office & engineering, planning and designsoftware.

7. Checking/Update all installation drawings and prepare relevant schedules.

8. Prepare cost estimation, budget and control and to check sub-contractor’sprogress claim

9. Monitor and supervise work progress, ensure that safety regulations are adhered

10. Involved in testing and commissioning.

11. Knowledge in Singapore Standards and other International Standards.

12. Technical investigations & Perform site survey.

Engineer

Responsibilities;

1)Site survey, quotation preparation, construction quality and safety management, budget control

2)Negotiation of quotations with supplier/subcontractors

3)Ability to use Excel calculation software

4)Check site installation work against approved drawings. Supervise, schedule/plan monitor and inspect the works progress on ACMV duct, pipe and Electrical works

5)T&C of M&E system

6)Attend/Conduct Tool Box/Work arrangement Meeting at site.

7)Co-ordination works with Civil contractor and sub-contractor workers to housekeep, protection and storage of equipment, materials, tools and etc.

8)Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirement;

· Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· Experienced or Entry Level candidates are welcome to apply (On Job Training will be provided)

· The candidate will assist and support the Project Manager/Engineer in handling and monitoring the progress of projects.
