Operations & Controlling

· Responsible for managing & optimising all aspects of vessel operations of dry bulk vessels

· Ensure that communication with all parties including vessels, local offices, procurement department, ship managers, agents, stevedores, other associated companies, and sub-contractors is done correctly and in accordance with existing work instructions and valid charter-party and contract conditions.

· Respond to any problems that arise during the voyage and put in hand whatever corrective measures may be required.

Key Responsibilities

Being responsible for managing all issues relating to the execution of the voyage, this includes – but is not limited to – the following specific matters:

· Monitor the day-to-day operation of the vessels.

· Prepare and distribute Voyage Instructions.

· Prepare appointments to agents, surveyors, etc

· Ensure optimal sailing routing for vessel

· Cargo Plan and bunkering plan preparation for the voyage

· Preparation of hire/freight invoice as well as follow up with all payments and receivables from counterparty until file closure.

• Build and maintain client relationships and act as primary fund administration client relationship manager for fund accounting and other related services
• Be actively involved in business development to pitch for new client engagements
• Set up the fund administrative services workflow and best practices, including evaluation of any fund accounting software where necessary

Job Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, CA or professional qualifications
