Responsibilities:

- Carry out audit procedures in accordance with the audit plan and SSAs

- Prepare draft financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards

- Strong technical expertise in audit and assurance methodologies and techniques, with a preference for those with international and Singapore client experience.

- Managing audit engagements which include initial engagement planning, analysis of controls and processes, preparation and review of audit documentation and management letters and reports and monitoring of engagement process against budget and timeline

- Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships and identifying business development opportunities

- Coaching and developing team embers to achieve technical competencies and efficient performance

- Familiar with regulatory and reporting requirements

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and regulations affecting the business.

Requirements:

- Degree in accounting/finance or equivalent professional qualifications

- Holding relevant professional certifications, such as CA (Singapore), ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, etc. is added advantage.

- Minimum of 4 years experience in external audit and assurance, with at least 1 year in a managerial role.

- Able to work both independently and as a team

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively collaborating with team members, including those across departments, and clients.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

- Knowledge of software like Caseware, Python and UiPath will be an advantage

- Knowledge of MAS compliance requirements for financial institutions, excluding bank and insurance, is added advantage

Job Description

• Perform and provide supervision to all contractual matter, tendering and procurements procedures (i.e. contracts, cost control, cashflow, project budgeting, project administrations, claims, cost analysis, etc).
• Assist in contractual and costing matters, ensure compliance with relevant laws.
• Liaise with Client / Consultant / Sub-contractors / Suppliers on contractual matters including payment claims, change orders, variation orders, extension of time, etc.
• Manage and prepare all contract documentation and agreement, as well as provide support in the drafting of specifications, bills of quantities and other tender requirements。
• Oversee the preparation and monitoring of project cost budget, cash-flow cash-flow for project, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly。
• Manage contracts including progress and variation payment claims, change orders, variation orders, extension of time, etc。
• Work closely with the project team to ensure timely award and payment of subcontractors and suppliers。
• Manage and monitor all financial aspects including but not limited to budget & cost control of Projects assigned and ensure project runs within budget。
• Source, liaise, compile and evaluate quotations from respective subcontractors according to requirement, specification and time schedule including drafting of Subcontract Document.
• Evaluate all VO claims from sub-contractors and ensure all the variation orders are carried out in order & according to proper procedure.
• Effective follow up on payment certificate to sub-contractors and payment advice to client
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor
• Min 5-year of experience in Quantity Surveyor or relevant for luxury landed house project.
• Familiar with various high-end materials used for luxury house.
• Able to communicate and liaise with Chinese-speaking associate.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.
• Familiar with AutoCAD & Revit.
