Job scope:

-Obtain necessary quotation that meets the project specification from principals and suppliers.

-Perform purchasing and materials planning to fulfil sales and project needs.

-Prepare and issue purchase orders to principals, suppliers for engines, alternators, radiators, parts and materials needed for the company’s sales and project requirement.

-Monitor / review inventory stocking policy.

Job Responsibilities

About the Role

As Master Data Specialist, you will work with Senior Manager BI and Master Data to execute data strategy and establish better governance of the group’s procurement master data throughout its lifecycle and ensure that high quality, actionable spend data is provided to the business. Main Duties & Responsibilities

Reporting to the Managing Director, they are currently seeking an experienced Head of Procurement to lead the sourcing activities and optimize the procurement function.

You will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost savings across various direct food categories. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record within the Food Industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Sourcing and Category Management: Develop and implement comprehensive multi-year procurement strategies for direct spend categories, including but not limited to Frozen Food, Frozen Meat, Frozen Poultry, Dairy, Butter, Cheeses, Dry Food, Seafood, Fine Food etc
• Tactical Procurement Process Management: You will spearhead and manage the end-to-end procurement process including the tactical buying process
• Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring optimal performance, cost-effectiveness, and risk mitigation.
• Cost Optimization: Identify and drive cost-saving initiatives, negotiate favorable terms, and manage procurement budgets effectively.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field;
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in direct procurement, with a proven track record of managing complex procurement functions and achieving cost savings.
