The Solution Architect shall act as a technical expert for Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and L3/L4 Solutions in the basic design and analysis of systems architecture and enabling readiness towards Systems-of-Systems (SoS) integration. The SA will play a crucial role in the L3 business expansion. They will provide expert advice and guidance to project teams for systems of the most complex nature, evaluation of new technologies and develop departmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive and scalable architectural integrated solutions and the associated validation process to enable the realization of a design brief (e.g., in terms of functionality, aesthetics, and cost) that conforms to organizational specific needs and regulatory standards.
• Work with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to maximize usage of Yokogawa industry solutions to enhance Yokogawa L3 business.
• Play an important part in the development of quality procedures and standards by certifying technological processes, qualifying products, and supervising tests.
• Post-deployment of solution, monitor its performance and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage digital product/service portfolio life-cycle management, planning and aligning with relevant cross-functional product teams, procurement, and distribution.
• Evaluate the feasibility/relevance of proposed solutions, working in cross- functional teams with other SMEs to develop and deliver significant aspects of the development program.
• Select appropriate technologies, frameworks, platforms and tools based on customer / SME requirements, considering factors like scalability, performance, security and cost.
