Minimum qualifications

• Experience with modern application development and Developer Operations (DevOps) practices, including Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience in programming languages such as Python with developing and deploying Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) models and applications.
• Experience with data analysis, data engineering, database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), and data warehousing solutions.
• Ability to analyze business problems and develop technical solutions.

Preferred qualifications

• 10 years of experience in cloud computing, with AI/ML, data analytics, and data engineering, in a customer-facing or consulting role.

Mission Summary:

We are actively seeking an exceptional Computer Vision / Machine Learning (CV/ML) Software Engineer to design and develop cutting-edge systems and software for our current and future autonomous driving efforts. As a member of the Localization, Mapping and Calibration (LMC) organization, you will play a critical role in architecting and developing automated semantic annotations and map change detection. This is an exciting opportunity to have a direct impact on the company’s goals by solving technical problems which allow us to scale production maps to meet the needs of commercial operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Design and implement automated semantic mapping solutions from ground up, taking ownership of complex challenges.
• Work with point cloud, image, and other sensor data to aid in semantic mapping by applying state-of-the-art methods and techniques.
• Develop and deploy scalable and efficient software in the cloud.
• Collaborate with internal teams that focus on HD mapping and CV/ML models (e.g. SLAM, segmentation networks, object detection networks) to improve our semantic maps.
• Understand how the maps are consumed and design metrics and tools to evaluate and validate our automated annotations
• Prioritize safety above all else in designing and implementing software solutions, ensuring the highest standards of safety in our autonomous driving efforts.

What We're Looking For

• Masters or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience shipping production software in robotics / graphics / mapping which cover topics in SLAM, geometric computer vision, point cloud processing and/or scene reconstruction.
• Strong C++ or Python software engineering and algorithm skills including software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, testing methods.
• Deep understanding of CV/ML techniques, particularly integrating ML modules in production.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate across multiple teams, researchers and engineers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn.

• Experience with large-scale data processing and backend distributed systems.

Participate in process development and integration solution to enable advanced packaging process technologies in the world of mobile, IoT, consumer and high-performance computing area. Partner and work with various teams from inside and outside of IME to help develop leading-edge packaging solutions for our customers, taking the solutions from concept to mass production. Responsibilities will include assisting in operations support in clean room to make sure projects are completed successfully and delivered on time.

This position is based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Operate semiconductor equipment to perform processes, measurement, and inspection of wafers. (Include equipment setup, loading and unloading of wafers)
• Monitor basic equipment/process errors and perform recovery.
• Work with internal and external parties to align for tool time, execute process sequence and collect data to feedback to integration owner.
• Logistically transport wafer lots between equipment within cleanroom and between worksites.
• Identify and address potential areas for improvements such as cycle time, utilization, and cost.
• Perform chemical change/ top-up for equipment under supervision.
• Understand and follow all Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) procedures and requirements.
• The candidate may be required to perform shift work (Mon-Fri).

Experience:

• NiTEC or Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Chemical Engineering
