The SIEM engineer will architect, implement, and maintain various SIEM solutions for our customers to support our security analysts. This role will primarily setup, maintain, and enhance various SIEMs.

• Configure and administer the SIEM to support the needs of SOC.
• Responsible for maintaining the health of the SIEM tool and ensuring agreed uptime of the respective platform.
• Perform regular patching and version upgrades on the SIEM platform.

ROLE/JOB SUMMARY:

Datacenter Solutions Sales/PreSales Engineer for Telecom and Datacenter business in Singapore and Malaysia with potential to grow into Regional SEA markets.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

• Develop Delta’s sales engagement with clients in South East Asia for outcomes, consultative and solution selling opportunities.
• Responsible to achieve annual sales target and monthly revenue milestones.
• Generate sales report, strategy plan and maintain CRM sales leads and pipelines
• Execute sales order and work with internal supporting functions to maintain inventory provisions, project delivery and revenue forecasts (end to end).
• Provide sales and technical support for clients: work with internal teams and third-party technology providers for solutions outside Delta,
• Work with local & key account managers within the region and globally to develop value propositions for key stakeholders: executives, operators, finance leaders and IT leaders, and be able to put together compelling proposals for solutions to customers
• Respond to RFQ/RFP/RFT documents, put together solution requirements, design and costing, align service offerings and ultimately be the client’s point of contact for Delta
• Collaborate and coordinate with Delta factories and HQ/Region business stakeholders to ensure alignment in delivery to regional/global clients
• Develop industry best practices for solution deployment into data center client accounts, working with the regional professional services/delivery team.
• Manage existing and new account planning and strategy, to bring in Delta hardware and software content and grow hardware and software revenue in the region. Provides relationship management and sales consulting, support for major account opportunities.
• Develop a broad network of industry’s professional contacts, stay current with latest technologies in the data center space, including detailed understanding of competition and market trends.
• Position Delta value through our hardware and software content: position appropriate Delta products, services, third party technologies as part of a solution that fits the client needs

• Highly fluent with emerging data center industry trends and implications on customers: data center design, electrical and mechanical solutions for data centers.
• Understands a segment sales strategy, specifically data center, telcos, manufacturing, utilities and B&FI

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science/electrical or mechanical engineering

Job Experiences:

• 3+ years of deep domain expertise with the telecommunications and/or data center industry, designing and deploying hardware and software for data centers.
• 5+ years of technical sales experience with UPS, DC Rectifier, Precision Cooling, CCTV and software technologies like DCIM, or EPMS, or BMS, or edge computing solutions, or analytics software packages.
• 5+ years of consultative engagement with executive and technical teams in developing and translating business use cases to solution requirements and architecture documentation.
• Customer service oriented and strong in business relationship development
• Strong planning, organizing and time management skills
• Good negotiation skills, attention to details, follow up and administration skills
• Technology leadership, self-motivation and drive to work with internal and external (partner, client) stakeholders for client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist project team in solving design related to steel structure, shop drawing, implementation of construction sequence and quality standards of the project.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors on structural works and drawings issues.
• Perform design and pre-planning of steel structure work.
• Ensure accuracy and timely submission of structural coordinated drawing production, material and method statement as per master program.
• Attend structural coordination meeting.
• Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issue.

Requirements:

• Preferably with experiences in large size project (100,000m2), Steel Structure Work Project (10,000 ton).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar capacity/industry.
• Knowledge of construction methods, design codes and authority’s requirements.
• Ability to perform structural analysis by using design software.
• Experience in evaluating structural performance in temporary stage and construction feasibility study.
• Know basic BIM modelling functions but any certification in BIM training will be ideal.
• Having experience working with Japanese construction company.
• Having good knowledge and understanding of steel structure work, shop drawing coordination.

What Will You Do?

You Will Be a Great Fit If You Have:

• Strong background in computer science, computer engineering, information technology or related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a SRE (Site Reliability Engineer) role, Infrastructure Engineering or Application support with DevOps

• Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more programming languages – Python/ Java and configuration management/ IAC tools – Ansible/ Terraform

• Strong experience in a Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) with hands-on working knowledge in Jira, Confluence, Gitlab

• Experience in container technologies using Docker or Kubernetes

• Experience in AWS cloud architectures and infrastructure management (Terraform / CloudFormation)

• Experience in design and implementation of observability platforms

• Experience driving major production incidents and organised incident retrospective Meetings

• Good understanding of and experience in review and providing recommendation covering the AWS well architected framework

• Understanding of IT Service Management and Operations for Cloud

* Perform network administration in a heterogeneous environment (production, DR, test) comprising of network and security equipment, telecommunication links
