As a Supervisor (Senior / Assistant), you will assist the Production Engineer / Manager (Senior / Assistant) in performing the overall operation in PBU Fitting Plant. You are to adhere to Quality, Environmental and Safety Management System in accordance with the Company’s standards and customers’ requirements.

Responsibilities

1) Overall responsible for Project planning / Planning functions of PBU Fitting fabrication to customer / site.

2) Monitor & update of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.

3) Ensure quality of works is achieved and safety regulations are complied.

4) Coordinate with client’s representatives, consultants and sub-contractors on technical matters.

5) Review project specifications, technical clarifications and construction drawings.

6) Ensure that all installation as well as all defects of PBU Fitting met standards, measured to specifications and within tolerances & etc.

7) Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.

8) Coordinate with other department to resolve Quality issue.

9) Lead in the efficient of operation and discipline of the production.

10) Ensure Production members perform according to Quality requirement.

11) Maintain 5 “S” in the production floor.

12) Contribute ideas which can lead to cost saving, productivity efficiency, accuracy and timeliness targets.

13) Manage, coach and train the team members include carrying out performance review and disciplinary action, if required.

14) Authorize to stop operation if conditions are out of safety measures or not able to achieve specified process / operation conditions in production.

15) Participate in the Risk Assessment (RA) discussion & review and taking part of inspection with company WSH officer on Environment, Health & Safety within company premises.

16) Propose Yearly Budget.

17) Relay instructions from head of department to the teams.

18) Flag noncompliance issues to Engineer / Manager.

19) Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management and the designated manager.

Requirements

1) Minimum PSLE with at least 5 years’ experience working in Architectural / PBU Fitting environment.

2) Minimum ITE with at least 2 years’ experience working in Architectural / PBU Fitting environment.

3) Diploma / Degree with at least 1 years’ experience working in Architectural / PBU Fitting environment.

4) Knowledge of ISO 9000 and 45000 will be an advantage.

5) Possess problem-solving, analyzing and reporting skills.

Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma in Civil / Building / Construction / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with at least 3 years of supervisory level and relevant work experience in a Precast / Prefabricated Bathroom Unit (PBU) or Building & Construction environment.
2. Knowledge of precast construction practices, erection sequence, design, and visualization software such as AutoCAD.
3. Knowledge of relevant Statutory requirements and compliances.
4. Knowledge of ISO 9001, 18001 and 45001 will be an advantage.
5. Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
6. Good interpersonal skills to communicate with people of all levels.
7. Willing to work on alternate Saturdays and Sundays or Public Holidays if required.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Overview

As an Production Engineer (Senior / Assistant), you will assist the Production Manager in managing the Overall Operation of Precast Construction Plant. You are to adhere to Quality, Environmental, Safety Management System in accordance with Company’s standards and customers’ requirements.

1) Identifies operational problems by observing and studying system functioning and performance results; investigating complaints and suggestions; interviewing process supervisors and operators; completing troubleshooting procedures.

2) Identifies operational priorities by assessing operational objectives; determining project objectives, such as, efficiency, cost savings, energy conservation, operator convenience, safety, environmental quality; estimating relevance, time, and costs.

3) Develops operational solutions by defining, studying, estimating, and screening alternative solutions; calculating economics; determining impact on total system.

JOB SCOPE:

1. Conceptualize, manage and execute various video/media production projects.
2. Filming and editing of video/photo contents (corporate videos/ brand commercials / interviews / event highlights, narratives etc)
3. Operate and maintain camera equipment, audio and video recorders, and other production equipment.
4. Assembling, preparing and setting up equipment prior to filming, which may include cameras, tripods, monitors, lighting, cables and microphones etc.
5. To handle post production editing works for the Company.
6. Create basic animations, visual effects, music and sound effects for post video production.

8. Planning of creative storyboards for clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

1. Degree/Diploma in Film, Sound & Video or Media or equivalent
2. Streaming knowledge: Mastering of Zoom Meetings & Webinars capabilities and OBS/vMix. Other systems welcomed.
3. Basic knowledge of audio visual lighting production.
