Responsibilities:
- Plan and oversee the preparation and review of monthly management accounts and reporting packages of a portfolio of companies;
- Oversee the month end closing process for a portfolio of companies;
- Supervise a team of junior accountants/executives in day to day outsourced finance function, including AP processing and payroll;
- Plan, oversee and/or execute the consolidation of financial statements;
- Compilation of financial statements in accordance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards
- Lead or assist as appropriate, the financial management services;
- Research, analyse and provide accounting advice on specific or complex business transactions as and when assigned;
- Handle consultancy and business advisory projects upon assignment;
- Undertaking ad-hoc assignment assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- At least 4 years (Senior) or 5 years (Supervisor) working experience in similar field with some years of external audit experience or outsourcing function within corporate service providers.
- Degree in Accountancy, ACCA or their equivalent.
- Well-verse in SFRS, IFRS and generally acceptable accounting practices.
- Good knowledge of internal control, risk management and corporate governance.
- Sincere and committed, good time management and problem-solving skill, resourceful, proactive, able to work independently within fast-paced environment, effective verbal, and written communication skill.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of modern automation tools and those with IT background or experience are encouraged to apply.
