Key Responsibilities

• Operate machinery and equipment involved in food production, including mixing, cooking, packaging, and labeling, as per company procedures and product specifications.
• Ensure that all products meet the company’s quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular checks on products to ensure consistency in texture, flavor, and appearance.
• Perform regular machine checks and basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment to ensure smooth operation.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute product runs based on schedules, liaising with planners for any changes or delays.
• Ensure production processes comply with company and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure operators comply with food safety standards and maintain product quality.
• Monitor and control inventory, including SAP data entry.
• Minimize product loss and maximize plant efficiency by collecting and compiling production data (e.g., yield, losses, downtime, production line efficiency).
• Validate staff timesheets, overtime, and transport claims.
• Maintain and verify production reports and perform daily plant inspections.
• Maintain plant safety through daily briefings (e.g., toolbox meetings, RA briefings).
• Ensure safe use of equipment and schedule inspections and training.
• Prepare work schedules and assign production line tasks to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct root cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions. Prepare incident and staff counseling reports.
• Act as backup line leader when needed.
• Ensure all documentation for regulatory compliance is completed accurately.
• Work closely with the site management team to optimize production planning with ongoing activities (e.g., maintenance stops, project works).
• Assist in resolving employee issues and disputes.
• Identify efficiency improvements and suggest enhancements via SGA.
• Provide coaching and guidance to operators to meet company goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Organize and develop workers' skills, establish job expectations, and evaluate performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma or equivalent
• Min. 2 years of relevant experience in the F&B manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of GMP and WSH requirements.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to quickly assess production issues.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Punctuality and strong time management skills.
• Experience in managing people.
