Job Scope:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Live studio direct News & Current Affairs programmes in both automated and traditional galleries. Content is not limited to broadcast content. May be required to support digital from time to time.
• This position is responsible for the execution of live studio programming using a Vizrt Mosart Automation system. The responsibilities include but are not limited to using studio equipment to build effects and templates for coding and execution of studio shows via Octopus rundowns.
• Co-ordinate the planning and production of News and Current Affairs programmes output to ensure that editorial intentions are met, and highest production standards maintained. The individual will be equipped with the right skills and new/developing tools to deliver high quality production.
• Set the direction and work with studio crew on duties on the requirements to facilitate and execute an error-free studio production.
• Work primarily in the studio but occasionally will be needed in the field for outdoor news broadcast.
• In the fast paced nature of news, the individual is required to provide guidance to the studio and production crew on the last minute changes and issues that may happen on during production.
• Enforce the compliance to the Error Tracking System from both the production and maintenance team.

• Minimum Diploma in relevant discipline
• At least 2 years in production, preferably studio/live production but other production acceptable as well.
• Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment and able to react to changes and situations in a calm and collected manner, without supervison.
• Multitasking is required in the role as well as strong people interpersonal skills.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possesses Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• At least 10 years of related experience

• Lead strategic planning and day-to-day operations, particularly in relation to buildings and premises by engaging vendor services and maintain their performance.
• Monitor the operations of an organization’s security outfit to ensure effectual performance of duties.
• Ensure the work environment of an organization complies with set health and safety requirements.
• Oversee general staff safety by minimizing exposure to hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Supervise the renovation and repair of damaged building components to ensure proper refurbishing
• Hire and supervise the activities of contractors to ensure they carry out their job responsibilities
• Oversee the management and allocation of space in a building premises.
• Conduct surveys to identify building availability and suitability for lease.
• Carry out financial forecasts to predict potential business opportunities for a company.
• Utilize performance management systems to monitor and determine level of productivity and achievement of set goals.
• Analyze costs of production/supply to identify way to reduce expenses and maximize profits.
• Prepare and manage budgets to achieve set targets and objectives.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or solve urgent issues arise within manufacturing plant and office building premises in relation to soft and hard facilities management.
• Maintain accurate record of all relevant financial and non-financial details
• Conduct negotiations with vendors and clients to establish the terms, conditions and price of contract services.
• Review operational costs to make appropriate expense adjustments necessary for optimal running of a business.

Requirements:
