• Establish, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet regulatory and Class Approval requirements.
• Lead quality initiatives and promote a quality culture across the company, ensuring continuous performance improvement.
• Coordinate and conduct audits, report outcomes, and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Support teams in conducting root cause analysis and incident investigations, and compile reports in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Train employees on QMS processes and ensure clear communication of quality procedures and responsibilities.
• Manage budgets for QMS projects, oversee licensing, and document quality approvals and procedures across allocated sites.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with ISO 9001: 2015 certification.
• At least of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and management in the aviation or marine industries.
• Completion of the CAAS M10/L11/L12 Examination and ability to interpret CMM, including Illustrated Part Listings (IPL).
• Experience collaborating with OEMs for capability expansion and familiarity with Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
• Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations in the marine, defence, and aviation sectors, along with practical experience in Quality Management Systems.

Our client is a growing firm in the FI industry. This is a hands-on finance manager role whereby you manage a small team and report to the Head of Finance.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Response for financial accounting, month end close and reporting including consolidation of the group and liquidity management.
• Responsible for FP&A functions, including preparing management reports and presentation decks to Management, Audit Com and Board.
• Responsible for tax compliance (e.g. withholding tax, GST etc)
• Cover all financial operation matters including cash management and payments
• Ensure MAS regulated entity set of accounts are managed and kept in accordance regulatory requirements
• Work on audit matters
• Spearhead and implement finance transformation projects.

QUALIFICATIONS/ ACADEMIC BACKGROUND/ SKILLS

• Bachelor’s Degree in accountancy and a member of ISCA
• Min 10+ years of experience covering both financial accounting and FP&A functions, with some years of commodity trading or financial institution industry exposure
• Knowledge of MAS regulations, IFRS and/or US GAAP is required
• Hands-on experience doing finance transformation work is beneficial
• Added exposure to the treasury function is useful but this is not a must
• Very hands-on despite being experienced
• Adaptable, meticulous and flexible.
• Good presentation and communication skills
• Possess strong people skills
