Objectives of the position:

The NPI / Production Process Engineer is required to collaborate with the Program Management Team

and be involved in New Product Introduction activities and the creation of manufacturing Work

Instructions as well as other process documents. The incumbent is also expected to improve the work

processes actively and continuously to achieve high productivity and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

 Early involvement in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities.

 Interpret technical information (documents, drawings, and data) and analyse the manufacturing

process elements.

 Create Bill of Materials structure.

 Create manufacturing Work Instructions and other process documents in collaboration with the

Program Management, Production and Quality Assurance Teams.

 Carry out time studies and update the process cycle times.

 Provide timely technical support to the Production Team pertaining to manufacturing process and

quality issues.

 Engage in DFM and Lean Line Design activities.

 Relentlessly explore, evaluate, and review new tools, equipment, processes, etc.

 Actively and continuously improve the work processes to improve work efficiency and quality.

 Work with Program Management, Production, and Quality Assurance Teams to identify potential

process risks and make recommendations to mitigate these risks.

 Any other ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Manager and/or Engineering Lead.

Skills & Qualification:

 Minimum Diploma in any Engineering field such as Electrical, Mechanical/Mechatronics,

Manufacturing/Production or industrial Engineering

 Min. 3 years of manufacturing process engineering experience, preferably dealing with wire or cable

harness. Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Asst. Engineer position

 Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

 Basic manufacturing knowledge in cable harness assemblies, plastics and sheet metal preferred

 Experienced in the creation Bill of Materials structures

 Good knowledge on Solid Edge or SolidWorks preferred.

 Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint

 Lean/Six Sigma certification is desirable

 Strong analytical ability

 Team player with good communication skills

Working Hours

• 40 hours, 5 day work week

• Responsible for improving the production technology of the new site which will be launched in second half of 2026.
• Supports the production team for identifying, investigating, and resolving production issues in technical aspects.
• Leads technology for process control (DCS, SIS), operation condition, and product quality improvement and joins project work related to production technology development and improvement. Until the startup of new production line, training and learning opportunities of new production technology is provided by experienced members in the company.
• Will be a member of the commissioning and startup team of new plant and is responsible for designing and optimizing the process condition and process control system (DCS) and supports other production team members to achieve safe and stable commissioning and startup of new EVAL plant.
• Develop, review, and update all process control documents, procedures and operation condition sheet in consultation with Production Superintendent and Day Supervisors from Operation.
• Identifying, analyzing, trouble shooting and improving process efficiency, equipment performance, product yield, capacity, quality, process material uses and utilities consumption.
• Manage and improve process control system (DCS, SIS) and process data logging system.
• Support trial production and test run of new grade, new process and equipment with Production Technology Engineer.
• Optimize plant operating efficiency, yield optimization and energy conservation with feasibility study, make the necessary field test to verify the result.
• Provide technical support for Silo & Packaging process, including corrective measure for customer complaint in technical viewpoint.
• Lead process safety assessment (HAZOP, LOPA, etc.) and support HSE department technically.
• Submit reports’ finding and recommend modification, improvement and potential investment projects such as debottlenecking, environmental and cost reduction activities (i.e. reduction or more efficient usage of utilities).
• Coordinate with technical section for process simulation, evaluation, investigation, performance & yield optimization.
• Perform basic engineering design for all potential investment projects, prepare marked up P&ID’s and the required technical information for cost estimation purpose.
• Minimum five (5) years of relevant engineering/production work experience in chemical industry.
• Experience in designing or optimizing the process control system of chemical plants.
• Basic Engineering Skill with utilizing process and instrumentation diagram (P&ID).
