Job Summary

The Engineering Director will lead and oversee the engineering department within our CNC machining operations. This role is responsible for driving innovation, improving manufacturing processes, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in CNC machining, a strong background in engineering management, and a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams. This role will be based in Thailand.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Optimize CNC machining processes, post CNC processes.
• Maintenance of CNC machines, equipment, fixtures and cutting tools
• Oversee engineering projects.
• Provide technical guidance.
• Ensure quality compliance.
• Manage budget and resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (Those without degree but without relevant experience will be considered).
• 10+ years in CNC machining and engineering management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Knowledge in CAD/CAM and CNC programming.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma.
• Knowledge in GDT and metrology.
• Experience in Hard Disk Drive Industries has an advantage.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Ability to communicate in Thai or Chinese is a bonus.

Annual Remuneration

THB2,000,000 to THB2,500,000 (excluding variable bonus)

• Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective marketing strategies that elevate brand awareness and drive user acquisition within the blockchain space.
• Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
• Campaign Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of marketing campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels.
• Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, user needs, and growth opportunities, leveraging data to optimize marketing efforts.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with content creators to ensure high-quality, bilingual marketing materials that resonate with our audience.
• Partnerships and Collaborations: Build and maintain relationships with key partners and influencers in the blockchain industry to amplify our brand's reach.

Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a marketing leadership role within the blockchain industry.
• Language Proficiency: Fluency in both English and Chinese (Mandarin) is essential for this role, as communication with stakeholders will require proficiency in both languages.
• Proven Expertise: Demonstrated success in developing and executing successful marketing strategies, with a strong understanding of blockchain and crypto markets.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making.
• Leadership: Ability to lead, inspire, and drive a high-performing marketing team

• Lead a project design team from inception to delivery of hyperscale data centres with related activities for new builds and fit out projects
• Liaise with and support the Development Manager and senior management on client and customer proposals to ensure that there is seamless transition once projects are implemented
• Collaborate with our top cloud and enterprise customers and communicate presentations on all aspects of design
• Develop high level master planning, space planning and engineering solutions for potential new developments (feasibility stage)
• Produce consultant briefs to develop designs from feasibility stage through concept, scheme and detailed design stages, ensuring continuity of design philosophy and approach
• Coordinate technical aspects of direct procured equipment and facilitate alignment with the design team
• Understand commercial implications of engineering decisions and build cost models for customers.
• Leverage local subject matter expert's tribal knowledge, spread adoption of best practices
• Coordinate closely with data centre field operations to foster alignment and partnerships for business success
• Provide regular reporting, updates and presentations to senior management and internal stakeholders including progress reporting, risk assessments, investment committees, customer proposals and business case development.
• Build and manage project scope, equipment requirements and assist with proposals and capital requests
• Stay updated on data centre industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies, incorporating them into designs and builds as appropriate

Job Requirements:

• 10+ years' experience in design and project delivery;
• A Bachelor’s engineering degree is a plus
• In-depth understanding of Australia business regulations with extensive experience working with relevant Partners in the region.
• Experience working for a data centre operator and previous hyperscale and cloud experience, ideally in the Asia Pacific market
• Good overall knowledge of the current data centre market in Australia
• Excel at communication and can deliver effective presentations on data centre operations to customers, peers and management
• Strong leadership and foresight to lead multi-disciplinary teams across multiple geographies
• Willing to travel to other APAC regions on a regular basis
