Reporting to the Director, the Assistant Director leads a team in planning and operationalizing programs, including marketing for the Hua Mei Training Academy under Tsao Foundation. • The Operational, Technology and Cyber Risk (OTCR) organisation is instrumental in protecting and ensuring the resilience of Standard Chartered Bank’s operations, data, and IT systems by managing operational, technology and cyber risk across the enterprise. This role is pivotal in identifying new market opportunities, cultivating relationships with key stakeholders, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Growth & Planning:Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies aligned with organizational objectives for the SEA region.
  Identify, assess, and prioritize new business opportunities, partnerships, and market segments.
  
• Market Research & Insights:Analyze market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  Provide actionable insights into customer needs and emerging opportunities in the region.
  
• Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  
• Sales & Revenue Growth:Achieve or exceed revenue and business targets by driving new client acquisition and expanding existing accounts.
  Lead contract negotiations, proposals, and presentations to secure high-value deals.
  
• Team Leadership:Lead and mentor a high-performing business development team across the SEA region.
  Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the team.
  
• Operational Excellence:Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
  Regularly report on business development activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, with at least 8 years in a leadership position within the SEA market.
• Proven success in driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
• Strong network of contacts within the SEA region across industries.

able to travel frequently especially to china. Able to communicate read and write in english and chinese. report direct to company CEO. Must be able to process Marketing, PR and consultation duties. Irregular working hours as entertainment is needed when travelling for overseas trip. Report to be given to company for each trip.
