This role supports the Project Manager. It involves the planning and co-ordination of site work. The person in this role needs to be good at communication and obtaining feedback. Instructions must be given to site personnel in a manner that is easy to understand and the person needs to ensure his instructions are understood correctly. This person will also help the Project Manager with any issues that may arise on site.

Job Scope:

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Project Engineer to support our growing team.

As a key player in the company, you will:

• Support the Project Team in pump selection, quotations, technical documentation, and drawings
• Follow up with customers and suppliers on inquiries and orders
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure project deadlines are met
• Initiate and request orders for required project supplies
• Coordinate project timelines and resources

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

• A minimum of a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field
• Project coordination experience
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical, detailed-oriented, flexible, and dynamic mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 2D AutoCAD skills are essential (Good AutoCAD skills are an advantage)
• A Class 3 Driving License is preferred but not mandatory

• Preparing / catering of all necessary documents for submissions.
• Processing work orders, delivery orders,paperwork, etc.
• Monitoring and managing all phases of projects development and schedules.
• Coordinate and building good rapport with the clients.
• Ensure proper tracking and reporting of projects development.
• Work as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Preferably 3 years experiences in construction field
• Proficient in microsoft wors,excels.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Project Director (PD) in project functions, including project management, site management, and risk control to achieve project goals.
• Lead and mentor the project team by setting guidelines, providing advice, and supervising as needed.
• Oversee all project management activities from planning and coordination to completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
• Assist PD in compiling project progress reports (e.g., Monthly Report, VO Management, EOT Assessment, Project Progress Updates).
• Monitor the project schedule and manage daily operations, setting short- and long-term goals, coordinating with other contractors.
• Conduct technical reviews to ensure contract compliance and adherence to completion timelines.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors, attending regular meetings to ensure project progress.
• Supervise site labor and subcontractors, resolving construction issues as they arise.
• Oversee quality control, safety, and EHS practices on-site, identifying high-risk activities before construction and approving Method Statements.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent, recognized by the Singapore Professional Engineers Board (PEB).
• At least 10 years of experience in the construction industry.
• Experience in LTA, roadworks, MRT, and viaduct projects.
