Project Management

Established in 2010, the Energy Research Institute @ NTU (ERI@N) is a pan-university research institute that focuses on systems-level research for tropical megacities. It performs translational research that covers the energy value chain from generation to innovative end-use solutions, motivated by industrialisation and deployment.

In 2021, Enterprise Singapore, the national standards body for Singapore, had appointed ERI@N as a Standards Development Organisation (SDO) to develop and promote standards under the Electrical and Electronic Standards Committee. This includes standards supporting emerging areas such as renewables -offshore wind/marine & solar energy, secondary batteries and cells, solid state transformers, electrical energy storage systems, and smart grids. We also work with regulators and the industry on standards for electrical installations, building & services and safety and effectiveness of electrical products and services.

We are looking for a passionate Project Manager to support the work of the SDO.

Core expertise:

Project management responsibilities include managing the identification, development and promotion of standards meeting key requirements set by Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG). These include supporting standards committees under the management of ERI@N in their standard development and promotion work to ensure timely and successful delivery of new and reviewed standards. The PM should have a background in business skills, project management, budgeting, analysis and stakeholder management. 6. Perform price negotiation to meet the budget.

7. Ensure the spare parts / equipment are always maintaining at the minimum stock inventory level.

8. Provide supervision to the Engineers and Technicians for day-to-day work activities.

9. Follow up payment from the customers.

10. Forecast future manpower needs to ensure there is sufficient manpower to perform the assigned tasks.

11. Co-ordinate with the project teams for projects handover.

12. Arrange and conduct training for the staff.

Key Requirements

1. Diploma / Degree in Engineering.

2. At least 3 years of work experience in the related field.

3. Good management Skills.

4. Pleasant personality, excellent customer service skills and able to build and maintain a positive relationship with customer satisfaction.

The role involves client onboarding, communications, and managing the web projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding clients for web design, development and other products
• Work with design and development teams
• Quality assurance and timeline management of projects
• Create and maintain relationships with customers to better understand and achieve their needs
• Manage all reporting about the health of customers' accounts
• Arranging and managing invoicing for client projects based on milestones set

Qualifications

• Previous account management experience
• Experience with UX or UI design is a plus
• Articulate and well accustomed to a client facing role
• Willingness and ability to travel
