This role will report to the Director of Human Rights Policy. and will be a member of a creative and impactful global human rights team, bridging communities across human rights, tech, and business.

Responsibilities

• Support a range of due diligence projects and strategies to ensure we "know and show" our human rights risks, according to global standards
• Detect, analyze, and respond to APAC and global events, then develop strategies and action steps to mitigate rights risks, as well as manage case escalations
• Provide expert advice on human rights question and mitigations to a wide array of internal stakeholders, including policy teams, operational teams, and management.
• Collaborate internally and persuasively with partner teams across policy, operations, and legal.

Minimum Qualifications

• BA or equivalent professional qualification in any field
• 5+ years of professional work experience in human rights, conflict prevention/resolution, strategic or regulatory response, risk management, or related fields
• Knowledge of geopolitical, security, or socio-cultural issues in the APAC region, as well as of the impact of digital and new technologies
• Demonstrated operational or project/program management skills
• Experience in framing complex policy or technical issues, then building consensus and coalitions for action
• Strong writing and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of global human rights standards and principles, ideally including freedom of expression as well as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
• Strong knowledge of in-region challenges faced by human rights defenders, women and girls, and/or other vulnerable groups

The Executive Assistant will use their organizational and time management skills to support the day-to-day logistics of their assigned Executives. Reporting to SVP & MD, APJ, you will have the responsibility to help your executives maximize their day ensuring their internal and client facing engagements are professionally supported. The Executive Assistant must be a self-starter, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic. WHAT YOU WILL DO

· Executive assistant to 3-4 assigned executives both local and remote

· Consistently work toward an understanding the executive(s) line of business, clients and team

· Identify new ways to add value & proactively take on new tasks to help the executive be more productive

· Perform as direct assistant to the office executives to include calendar management, expense reporting and logistics associated with staff management

· Receive, screen and manage calls and respond to inquiries and requests for information as directed

· Schedule and support internal and external meetings (coordinate calendars, organize logistics, take notes, coordinate follow-up)

· Prepare, type, format and proofread a wide variety of documentation as needed

· Maintain office filing system including paper files/file cabinets, shared electronic files etc.

· Understand and apply company policies and procedures, laws, regulations as directed

· Research and compile a variety of informational and/or confidential materials, summarizing information as directed

· Coordinate with internal departments as needed to assist in information sharing/gathering for Sales, Delivery, People Operations, Legal, Travel, Finance and others

· Manage communications with other executives globally

· Purchase and organize equipment and supplies needed by the executive

· Assist in the onboarding of new hire direct reports to assigned executives

· Support the general operations of the Singapore office

· Ordering and organising supplies

· Dealing with invoices as required (predominately dealt with by Finance)

· Organising Singapore Engagement Activities

· Managing SG, AU, PH and Japan Distribution Lists

· Answering the mainline phone and greeting visitors

· Collecting/distributing post and arranging courier deliveries

· Fire warden duties

· Reconciliation of monthly credit card statement and analysis

· Liaising with charity partner to organise corporate volunteering days

• Take on special projects as requested by the assigned executives

WHAT IT TAKES

· Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field

· Minimum of 7 years of progressive administrative support experience, preferably in a professional services environment

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant

· Ability to proactively troubleshoot problems, ask questions for clarification and understand when to escalate

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications, Web-based research skills and ability to learn firm-wide applications and technology packages

· Experience with various communication tools such as zoom, Skype and Google Hangouts

· Experience with professional collaboration tools such as SharePoint and MS Teams

· Ability to prioritize competing requirements and/or deadlines

· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

· Strong work ethic, self-motivated and a passion for a high performing team

· Exceptional relationship building skills, the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations

· Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to handle different personalities

· Sense of humor and ability to have fun in a productive atmosphere

Responsibilities

• Offering administrative and clerical assistance to support departmental functions.
• Compiling, preparing, and ensuring timely submission of necessary reports.
• Handling and processing payments for invoices.
• Arranging and coordinating meetings, including scheduling, sending invites, booking conference rooms, and setting up required equipment.
• Managing travel arrangements and scheduling appointments for the management team.
• Planning and organizing both internal and external events.
• Facilitating communication and coordination between departments to ensure efficient information flow and timely updates across the organization.
• Performing additional tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Possess at least diploma in Business Management or a related field, with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong ability to multitask and adhere to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
