Responsibilities:

1. Management reports:

-Prepare monthly trial balance and balance sheet schedules,

-Prepare monthly and quarterly projects’ reports, ie. Payable, Receivable, and cash flow,

-Prepare monthly office cash flow and analyse cash flow balance fluctuation,

-Monitor prepayment schedules and prepare amortisation slips.

2. Review projects payment, receipt and journal slips.

3. Support yearly financial audit, mainly in preparing audit schedules to the external auditors and attending auditors’ queries. Audit schedules, for instance, but not limited to accounts receivable, prepayments, other assets, completed project listing and leases.

4. Assist in a joint venture entity (JV) accounts and GST:

-Prepare GST and file GST returns to IRAS,

-Support JV entity and JV partner’s yearly financial audit, mainly in preparing audit schedules to the external auditors and attending auditors’ queries,

-Placement of time deposit, and

-Renew of business registration with ACRA before expiry date.

5. Support Head Office accounting request as and when.

6. Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirement:

• Degree / Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA or equivalent.

• To have basic knowledge on Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GST.

• Preferable to have at least 3 years similar industry experience.

• Able to start working within short period of time

Fundraising Manager/Executive (Supporters Engagement)

ACRES Wildlife Rescue Centre and our office is nestled in one of the few remaining rustic areas of Singapore, surrounded by farms in Sungei Tengah. With the nearest bus stop 25 minutes walk away, our working hours from 9:30am to 5pm (except wildlife rescue officer position) allow our team some travel time. Our simple office is surrounded by nature – from wild birds, toads, insects and plenty of vegetation – motivating you more towards the cause we serve!

Objectives of this role

• Increase donor profile and retention.
• Develop strong donor stewardship with individuals, corporates, and foundations.
• Ensure all fundraising initiatives meet the departments’ financial targets.
• Ensure compliance with grant reporting requirements and fundraising code of governance.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engage, and manage corporations, foundations, and individuals for philanthropic programmes.
• Track, update, and manage grant goals and expenditures to prepare and present impact reports.
• Liaise with corporations to execute corporate engagement sessions and ensure deliverables are met.
• Plan, write, design, and PowerPoint presentations for supporter events, and social media content to keep donors up-to-date.
• Strategise and manage all programmes pertaining to donor stewardship and analyses.
• Collate data of all fundraising activities for internal reporting purposes and keep the donor database up-to-date.
• Attend all required meetings, fulfil fundraising targets for the financial year, and maintain collaborative efforts within the Advocacy team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening applications, and scheduling interviews.
• Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires including setting up workstations, and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
• Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Assist with filing and organizing personal files.
• Ensure that the Employee Handbook and Job Descriptions are updated, communicated, and adhered.
• Attend to staff on all leave queries.
• Ensure that gifts and condolence tokens to staff are arranged accordingly.
• Assist the Manager in Fire Safety and act as a Fire Warren as and when required.
• Prepare and submit reports related to HR and administrative functions as required.
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events, such as teambuilding activities, company outings, etc.
• Coordinate and monitor all training related matters such as course enrolment/registration, applications for grants or subsidies.
• Maintain and update Training Records.
• Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders as needed. Ensure the office equipment environment is well-maintained and operational.
• Support the arrangement of travel and accommodation for staff, adhering to company policies.
• Provide general administrative support including answering all incoming calls, courier services, incoming and outgoing mails, etc.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field with min 2 years of experience in HR or administrative roles.
