• Take the lead in close collaboration with cross functional teams such as Regulatory, Marketing, Supply chain, Contract manufacturers, R&D and Quality, for seamless on-time delivery of products.
• Source for contract manufacturers and liaise with formulators to develop new product; be the main contact point with these suppliers for NPD/ formulation discussions.
• Review formulas and ingredient/ design statements for new product that is compliant with regulations.
• Familiar with the concept of product challenge test, stability, and compatibility studies.
• Research market prices, create accurate product costing data and propose product pricing.

3. New product introduction:

• Conduct product training to regional trainer/marketing team and key leaders of salesforce.

4. Post-launch product management:

• Analyse product performance and identify actions required.
• Manage product feedback and propose technically sound customer-centric reply.
• React to necessary corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) raised by Quality.

5. Contribute for and implement standard procedures (in compliance with industrial standards and QMS requirements) for any product development and management activities or as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree in Cosmetic Science or Chemistry.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in product development/ management in the cosmetic and skin care industry.
• Bonus if candidates have prior experience with beauty/personal care/medical device.

Job Duties:

1. Market Insights and Data-Driven Strategies

• Conduct in-depth market research and gather consumer insights through in-country research, industry intelligence, and focus groups.
• Identify key consumer trends, shopping behaviours, and industry developments in the Indonesia and India markets.
• Develop actionable strategies and marketing plans based on data analysis to improve business performance and achieve revenue growth.

2. Planning and Execution of Regional Marketing Initiatives

• Support the design and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns and events tailored to local market nuances.
• Lead the development of on-ground campaigns that engage consumers and spur spending.

3. Collaboration with Retailers, Brands, and Partners

• Work closely with retailers, brand partners, and in-country agencies to curate relevant content and programs that resonate with local audiences.
• Build and nurture strong partnerships with external stakeholders to co-create campaigns that drive mutual success.
• Coordinate joint marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and improve conversion rates.

4. Content Development and Program Curation

• Develop localised content and promotional programs that cater to the preferences of target consumers in Indonesia and India.
• Ensure marketing materials and campaigns reflect a deep understanding of cultural nuances and consumer motivations.
• Collaborate with creative teams to deliver compelling and market-relevant materials that adhere to brand guidelines.

5. Campaign Performance Monitoring and Reporting

• Track and evaluate campaign performance across digital and traditional channels using data analytics tools.
• Identify and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of campaigns.
• Prepare post-campaign reports with actionable insights, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.

6. Competitor and Industry Analysis

• Monitor competitors’ marketing strategies, promotions, and consumer engagement tactics.
• Analyze industry trends and identify opportunities to position the business as a market leader.
• Summarize findings in comprehensive reports to guide decision-making and future campaigns.

7. Strategic Budget and Resource Management

• Assist in managing marketing budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to optimize campaign execution within allocated budgets.

Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in marketing, market research, or campaign strategy, with exposure to Indonesia and/or India markets preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
• Sharp business acumen with a focus on driving measurable outcomes.
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools, analytics platforms, and reporting systems.
