Training & Development

Job Description:

Jobs Description

• Maintain relationships with key customers and suppliers (inter-relationship skill, communication skill, networking skill)

• Continuously find sources/suppliers for products on demand and find buyers for available products from our existing suppliers (research and analysis skill)

• Find and identify areas to improve and new products to trade on (analysis skill, observation skill)

• Report to director and senior trader on business portfolio and business development (presentation and communication skill)

• Draft sales and purchase contract (legal skill, trade skill)

• Handle shipping documents and Letter of Credit negotiation

• Liaise with operations on post-fix trading, logistic, and documentation (shipping skill, operation skill)

• Liaise with finance on customer payments (finance, banking trade facility skill)

• Other skills required: Bilingual and negotiation skill

Requirement:

• Must be knowledgeable in incoterms and trade risk

• 3 years experience in a similar position

• Skills in administration/banking/shipping/legal

• Systematic and methodologic and discipline

• Strong business acumen and team player

• Enterpreneural and initiative

• Proficient in both English, Mandarin and Malay/Indonesian.

Job Responsibilities

Recruitment

• Oversee the entire recruitment process, including reviewing job description, job posting, candidates screening, shortlisting, interviewing, selection process, and manpower planning
• Develop recruitment strategies and explore new sourcing channels in building talent pool
• Participate in Career Fair and store visits
• Administer work pass application, renewal, and cancellation
• Manage new hire onboarding process, including preparation of employment contract, IT equipment requisition, orientation & induction, registering of clock-in account
• Build rapport with schools to manage internship and traineeship

HR Operations

• Manage the Time Attendance system and maintain up-to-date attendance record
• Training registration and statutory surveys
• Create, maintain and update accurate employee data in Prosoft and government portals
• Prepare weekly Manpower reports, Budget reports, and any other ad-hoc reports

Administration tasks

• Upkeep and maintenance of employees’ p-files
• Preparation of company letters – confirmation letters, promotion letters etc
• Track probation appraisal and follow-up on confirmation
• Organize staff activities and company events such as Company D&D, Teambuilding

Requirements

• Degree in HR, Business or equivalent
• Preferably at least 3 years of relevant experience in HR
• Good knowledge of the Employment Act and Labour laws of Singapore
• Comfortable to handle high volume of transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Vlookup and Pivot table
• Meticulous, good with prioritizing work and managing datelines
• Possess strong interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
• Candidates with prior experience with Prosoft will have an added advantage
