Your Role

Mighty Jaxx is looking for a Key Account & Partnership Manager who will be responsible for handling the Brands pillar within the Consumer Products vertical in Mighty Jaxx. This is an instrumental account management role, where the selected candidate will act as a bridge between brands Mighty Jaxx works with, and our internal teams. You will be involved throughout the product development process, and contribute towards the creation of exciting new collectible products.

Responsibilities

• Manage an extensive portfolio of active Brands licensing accounts, and cultivate a good understanding of the differing needs of each account
• Serve as the primary point of contact for these accounts, addressing their day to day inquiries and concerns in a timely manner
• Coordinate cross-functionally with internal teams such as Legal, Marketing, Product Development, Sales, Logistics, Experiences to ensure the successful implementation of collaboration initiatives
• Monitor the fulfillment of various minimum guarantees, and advise internal teams on the product release roadmap for license maximisation
• Participate in contract renewal discussions and negotiations, focusing on mutual benefits and continued partnership growth
• Prepare quarterly royalties reports
• Prepare regular reports with updates on sales figures, account status, key performance metrics, and revenue projections
• Assist in resolving disputes or issues that may arise during the contract term, maintaining a solutions-oriented approach
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to identify new opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
• Hosting visiting brand teams and artists - including itinerary planning, events, fanmeets

Requirements

• A proven track record of successfully managing large and complex client relationships or partnerships is a must
• Prior experience in managing licensing-related accounts is preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of Intellectual Property (IP) rights, licensing processes and challenges, and industry standards
• Excellent oral and written communication, and strong interpersonal skills
• Able to connect and engage with various stakeholders, including artists, brands, and internal teams
• Detail-oriented mindset with exceptional organisational and project management skills
• Proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
• A passion for entertainment, arts, and pop culture, with an eye for emerging trends and opportunities

• Lead a HR Team to manage the full cycle of HR function across the full employee lifecycle, from talent acquisition to employee exit, ensuring all HR activities are strategically planned, budgeted, and effectively executed to support Operations.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to the Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Supervise the Talent Acquisition (TA) Executive and collaborate with Operations units on manpower needs to ensure timely resource deployment for daily operations
• Act as an advisor to Operations Management on compliance and regulatory matters, including handling employee grievances and employee relation matters.
• Responsible for Project HR budgeting, payroll management, covering personnel and recruitment costs.
• Lead the annual performance management process, ensuring it is effectively communicated and implemented within the division.
• Work closely with Operations units to understand their objectives and deliver HR support to achieve these goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to influence and drive HR strategies that support business growth and performance.
• Stay updated on industry trends, practices, and statutory guidelines, and explore innovative HR solutions. • Other ad hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as an HR generalist/partner role preferably in Operations, Retail, F&B, or service industry.
• Degree in Human Resource Management, IHRP Certified Professional preferred.
• Effective leadership skills to manage several projects simultaneously and ensure the team meet objectives.
• Good knowledge of Employment Act and Employee Relations.
• High adaptability, good interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Meticulous with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
