The Solutions team in Visa Direct is responsible for Discovery & Implementation of New customers whilst helping existing clients on upsell/upgrade projects. This means working closely with Business teams to fully understand client requirements, then craft and validate the proposed solutions prior to signing. Once approved, delivering on the agreed solution and managing changes that may occur.

What a Solutions Consultant does at Visa:

• Ensuring client requirements is captured and a full understanding of the proposed solution / workflow before a client is signed,
• Consulting and guiding prospects and client on how to best use and ingest our products and services into their operational workflows and solutions, tailoring each proposed solution according to the client’s strategic and go-to market plans,

This role is based out of Singapore Hub and supports Asia Pacific markets. The role will report to Director, Commercialisation and Solutioning APAC for Visa Direct Solutions.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. This is an research administrative and operational position within the Asia Centre for Health Security (ACHS). The incumbent will be part of the team to support the core functions of the centre. Their duties would include supporting research administration, conducting education and training programs, convening meetings, and secretariat functions.

Duties & Responsibilities
Working under the direction of the Director and Head of Operations at the ACHS, the Assistant Manager/Senior Assistant Manager will be part of the team to support the core duties of the centre:

a) Research and Centre Administration
- Support researchers to draft, review, negotiate and execute research agreements by working closely with researchers, collaborators and internal and external legal offices

Job Description

You will be part of the NUS College administrative team working closely with the Vice Dean (Outreach) as well as team leads and team members to oversee, optimise and strengthen administrative processes throughout the Outreach pillar, and provide support in selected outreach efforts. The QA/QC Manager for Offshore Substation (OSS) is responsible for the overall quality assurance and quality control of all activities related to the design, procurement, construction, installation, testing, and commissioning of the offshore substation. The role ensures that all processes, systems, and deliverables meet the required quality standards, industry regulations, and Employer Requirement. The QA/QC Manager will implement and oversee the project-specific quality management system (QMS), ensure compliance with quality standards, and lead efforts to identify and mitigate quality risks throughout the project lifecycle.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Quality Assurance (QA):

• Develop, implement, and improve the project’s QMS in line with Employer Requirement, industry standards (ISO 9001, IEC, DNV, etc.), and Korea regulatory requirements where necessary.
• Develop detailed quality plan, procedures, and work instructions specific to offshore substations, ensuring alignment with project scope and requirements.
• Perform suppliers and subcontractors’ qualification and selection processes based on their ability to meet quality standards. Monitor and assess suppliers and contractors’ quality performance throughout the project execution.
• Conduct internal and external audits of the project’s QMS, ensuring compliance with Employer Requirement, established procedures, standards, and regulations. Manage corrective actions to address any audit findings.
• Ensure all project documentation (e.g., Inspection, Test and Audit Plan, Project Quality Plan, drawings, technical specifications, procedures, and reports) are properly prepared, controlled, stored, and accessible to authorized personnel.
• Organize and deliver training for the project team on quality procedures, requirements, and tools to ensure consistent understanding and adherence to quality standards.
• Identify and manage quality risks associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans in cooperation with Interface and Risk Manager

Quality Control (QC):

• Supervise all quality control activities related to offshore substation BOP and materials, including inspections, testing, factory acceptance tests (FAT), and site acceptance tests (SAT or HAT) for the main electrical equipment (MEQ), structures, and other BOP.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that construction and installation activities comply with quality specifications. Monitor offshore installation activities, including Topside construction, equipment commissioning, and so on.
• Track, report, and manage non-conformities (NCs) for materials, processes, and equipment. Ensure that root causes are identified, corrective actions are implemented, and preventive actions are taken to avoid recurrence.
• Ensure that all testing, including electrical, mechanical, and structural tests, are carried out according to Employer Requirement, approved standards, procedures, and protocols.
• Make sure that the offshore substation meets DNV Project Certification based on DNV-ST-0145 (2021 Edition) primarily.
• Supervise the commissioning process to verify that the offshore substation meets all operational and safety requirements.
• Maintain detailed, accurate records of inspections, testing, and commissioning activities. Ensure all QC-related documents are in compliance with regulatory requirements and Employer’s expectations.
• Ensure the compilation and completion of quality records, inspection reports, and test certificates for final handover to Employer upon project completion.

Project Integration & Coordination:

• Work closely with the project engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning teams to ensure quality management is integrated into all phases of the project lifecycle.
• Interface with external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities, certifying bodies, and Employer to ensure the quality system and results meet project standards and expectations.
• Communicate quality-related issues, risks, and actions to Project Manager, Interface and Risk Manager, and other stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Risk and Issue Management:

• Identify quality-related risks, including those related to offshore conditions, materials handling, and installation processes. Develop strategies to mitigate these risks and prevent issues from impacting project timelines, costs, or safety.
• Lead the resolution of quality-related issues on-site, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across teams. Ensure non-conformity reports (NCRs) are documented and appropriate corrective actions are implemented promptly.

REQUIREMENTS

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or certifications in Quality Management (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, Six Sigma) is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum 8-12 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control, with at least 5 years in the offshore energy sector or large infrastructure projects (offshore substations, offshore wind, or oil & gas).
• Proven experience in managing QA/QC processes for offshore substations, electrical installations, marine construction, or other similar offshore projects.
• Experience of offshore substation design and construction, electrical equipment (transformers, switchgear, substations), cabling, and the other related BOP.
• Experience with quality standards relevant to offshore energy projects, including IEC standards, DNV rule / Project Certification, ISO 9001, and others.
• Experience in developing and implementing QMS, conducting quality audits, and managing non-conformities in large-scale projects.

DESCRIPTION

The Interface and Risk Manager will oversee the coordination of all interfaces and the management of risks across various stakeholders, subcontractors, and project teams in the offshore substation project. This role ensures that potential technical, commercial, and operational risks are effectively managed, and that seamless communication and collaboration among the stakeholders are maintained throughout the project's lifecycle.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Interface Management:

• Act as the main focal point for all project interfaces between the project team, subcontractors, suppliers, and all external stakeholders
• Ensure clear and timely communication between all parties, ensuring all interface-related issues are documented and resolved efficiently, and manage Interface management plan and the related deliverables.
• Oversee the integration of various technical and system interfaces (electrical, mechanical, control systems, etc.) to ensure seamless functionality of the offshore substation.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, subcontractors, regulatory agencies, consultants, and other external parties, ensuring alignment with project goals and requirements.
• Manage changes to the project scope and/or technical interfaces, ensuring proper documentation, risk assessments, and approvals for modifications with management of Change Management Plan.

Risk Management:

• Identify and assess potential risks to the project, including technical, commercial, schedule, environmental, and schedule risks in cooperation with project teams.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative risk analysis to determine the likelihood, impact, and priority of identified risks. Use risk management tools like Monte Carlo simulations, FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), risk matrices, and schedule risk management tool.
• Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, including contingency plans for high-priority risks.
• Collaborate with relevant teams to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
• Continuously monitor project risks, ensuring that mitigation actions are effective.
• Report on risk status regularly to Project Manager, updating on risk and opportunity registers about new risks, and closed issues.

APAC Recruitment is working exclusively with Congo Brands in its search for a commercially focused Finance Business partner, to lead the APAC region’s commercial & supply chain finance agenda, working closely with the Business Unit Finance Director as well as APAC Directors of Sales and Supply Chain.

The Role

As a Project Manager at Congo Brands, you will ensure deliverables are met in a timely manner and gain a good level of understanding of the development to be able to communicate the projects status to senior management, whilst being comfortable in challenging the paradigm when required.

You will join a recently formed regional office in Singapore, and the role will initially require a hands-on and can-do approach. But, even when systems and procedures are in place, the rapid expansion will ensure an exciting and fast-paced journey.

Key responsibilities

• Overall Project Leadership: Lead planning, execution, and monitoring of key regional projects from ideation to execution and successful launch, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central point of contact across multi-functional teams, drive effective communication, collecting functional requirements, and developing collaboration frameworks to enhance organizational efficiency.
• Financial Healthiness: Analyzes the project’s cost structure and any significant deviations from the approved cost structure.
• Process Optimization: Design, implement, and refine key processes, ensuring they are well-documented and guided for continuous operational improvement to deliver goals for the organization

This position requires high calibre candidates with the following skillset

·       Education Qualifications: Degree; PMP qualifications will be a plus

·       Experience: 2-3 years of experience in project management, market research, or business analysis, preferably within FMCG or F&B industry

·       Critical Thinking: Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse projects through comprehensive planning, risk assessment, and SOP development.
