This advertisement is recruiting for the position of Operations Support Officer.
If successfully selected, you will be seconded to MOE primary school located in Barker Road.
Contract Period: 2 years contract from 2 March 2025 to 28 Feb 2027.
Option to Extend: from 1 March 2027 to 29 Feb 2028.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours:
- Mondays to Fridays: 6:30am – 4.00pm, inclusive of 1 hour lunch break (42.5 hours work week)
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

The main job responsibility is supporting School Operations in overseeing facilities maintenance, logistic support to school activities and escorting of contractors working within the school compound. You will be working as a member of the School Operations Team under the management of School Operations Manager.
Key responsibilities include:
- To assist the Administration Manager (AM) / School Leaders in the day-to-day operation of the school front counter, in general administration and in the school’s service excellence initiatives to achieve positive customer relations and satisfaction level.
The Personnel’s duties and responsibilities include:
- Maintaining general cleanliness of school compound, meeting rooms, offices, staff rooms and classrooms which includes, floor sweeping, mopping, clearing of rubbish, wiping and arranging of tables and chairs.
- Operating and maintaining general cleanliness and serviceability of school equipment i.e. air purifiers, standing fans, Fire Extinguishers etc.
- Support by providing & preparing all logistical arrangement for school events and activities including carrying and arranging furniture & equipment.
- Simple administrative and office work like distributing items to various classrooms.
- Escorting contractors working in school compound i.e. Pest Control, Building works & repair, Aircon maintenance servicing & electrical work.
- Assist in the maintenance of school Facilities i.e. Receive faults/damage report from teachers, co-ordinate with TC for repair, monitoring repair progress and ensure safety measures are in place during maintenance.
- Assist in the day to day operations and functions of the school as directed by School Leaders; Administrations & Operations Managers.
The personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- A dynamic, dedicated and motivated individual that can complete tasks without close supervision.
- Primary school qualifications.
- Advantage to have some experience in logistics and facilities maintenance.
- No chronic medical problems with an acceptable level of fitness and without criminal records.
