Greet guests promptly, courteously and graciously with eye contact and a smile
Possess working knowledge of the menus, menu ingredients, promotions and what is unavailable for that day
Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with guests
Be familiarised with regular guests and remember their preferences
Attend to any VIPs dining in the restaurant
Handle guest enquiries & feedback / complaints
Assist with functions / events to ensure guests’ expectations are met and exceeded, and assist to gather post event feedback
Perform any other job tasks assigned by the management
Requirements:
Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
Confident, outgoing personality and positive attitude
Ability to remain calm under pressure
Fluency in reading, writing and spoken English & Chinese / Mandarin – in order to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates
