Job Description:
1) Provide guidance and supervise subordinates.
2) Ensure Policies and Procedures, work instructions and daily duties are carried out.
3) Conduct daily briefings and check associates' grooming in line with established standard.
4) Attend to complaints (guestrooms / outlets / public areas / back of house, etc) and rectify / assign job to subordinates for rectification.
5) Ensure sufficient Par stock for daily operation.
6) Perform key roles in Hotel Fire Safety & Emergency,
a) ensuring periodical checks on the Fire Protection System
b) attending to fire alarms
c) conducting Safety Briefing for all function guests, as and when necessary.
7) Perform periodical checks / inspections of all plant and equipment (MEFP) to ensure they are operating safely, efficiently and economically.
8) Assist in co-ordinating and monitoring the movement of contractors engaged for works within the Hotel.
9) Ensure daily and monthly records of utilities, plant and equipment are accurate and kept up to date.
10) Perform any other duties as assigned from time to time.
11) Must be able to perform rotating shift work
Requirements:
NTC 2 (M&E ; Building services ) and above
Good Interpersonal and communication Skills
Experience in building / Hotel or facilities maintenance is preferred
