Job Summary:
The Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining an
organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
This role involves troubleshooting network issues, managing configurations, and
collaborating with IT teams to support business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and implement network solutions, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN
configurations.
2. Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
3. Configure and manage firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices.
4. Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions.
5. Conduct network capacity planning and optimize network performance.
6. Maintain network security by implementing access controls and monitoring for
vulnerabilities.
7. Create and maintain documentation, including network diagrams and configuration
guides.
8. Support network upgrades, migrations, and disaster recovery plans.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network configurations with
organizational goals.
Qualifications:
â—Ź Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
â—Ź 4+ years of experience in network engineering or related roles.
â—Ź Proficiency in networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF).
â—Ź Hands-on experience with network devices (Cisco, Juniper, etc.).
â—Ź Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are a plus.
â—Ź Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
