Requirements:

* Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Groovy for automation tasks.
* Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
* Hands-on experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Section A: Objectives/Purpose of the Job

The successful candidate will support the execution of planned changes at our Singapore sites, focusing on hardware replacements, troubleshooting, and installations. This role is vital for ensuring smooth operations and minimizing downtime during change implementations.

Section B: Key Responsibilities & Key Result Areas

• Network Equipment Familiarity: Understand and work with network devices and their components, including fibre and copper cables.
• Support Planned Activities: Participate in early morning green zone activities (between 11pm and 6am) two to three times weekly within Singapore, as required.
• On-site Hardware Support: Execute hardware changes, including the physical replacement and installation of network devices, plugin of USB media, organize the fibre/copper cables in preparation for planned activities and other equipment as per change requests.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues encountered during change implementation with existing hardware and consoles, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Console Setup: Provide console connection as needed during planned activities.
• Communications: Liaise and coordinate with implementation engineers, internal stake holders , providers and partners to ensure swift and efficient resolution of faults
• Continuous Improvement: Identify areas of improvements to reduce Infrastructure faults and improve monitoring capability.

Working Hours:

• Regular Hours: 8:30am-6pm SGT in Singapore Office, if no on-site activity
• Early morning green zone activities: twice or thrice weekly, between 11pm to 6am

Additional Information:

• Travel: travel within Singapore required
• Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move equipment as necessary, and perform tasks in various physical environments.
