Position Summary:

As an Equipment Engineer for Pick and Place, you will be responsible for leading efforts to enhance equipment performance, reliability, and efficiency within the Wafer Finishing manufacturing process. Your role will encompass managing a team of equipment technicians, overseeing fault investigations, optimizing machine performance, and ensuring throughput targets are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment spare parts, reviewing maintenance controls and procedures, and driving cost reduction initiatives.

What You Will Do:

· Lead OEE Improvements:Drive initiatives to improve Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) by identifying and addressing equipment performance bottlenecks and downtime issues.

· Guide Equipment Technicians:Mentor and lead a team of equipment technicians in conducting fault investigations, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring effective equipment maintenance.

· Continuous Equipment Improvements: Implement strategies for ongoing equipment enhancements, including upgrades, modifications, and optimization to meet production goals.

· Spare Parts Management:Maintain an inventory of critical equipment spare parts to minimize downtime and ensure the availability of necessary components.

· Review Maintenance Controls and Procedures:Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.

· Drive Cost Reduction:Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations while maintaining high-quality standards.

· Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by the manager to support the overall success of the department.

What You Will Bring (REQUIRED Qualifications):

· Candidate must possess a bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical) with minimum 5 years experience in Pick and Place, Dicing, UV Cure processes within the semiconductor manufacturing industry.

· Hands-on experience in equipment troubleshooting is a must have.

Job Description

• Oversee in-house engineering design works of Fire Protection (Sprinkler, Hose Reel, Fire Hydrant, Dry Riser, etc) and Plumbing and Sanitary system, including detailed design, hydraulic calculation, shop drawings, pipe sizing, equipment selection, etc.
• Manage Fire Protection & Plumbing design coordination with other trades with BIM coordination.
• Liaise with Fire Protection & Plumbing suppliers for quotation, responsible for equipment selection, technical and commercial evaluation.
• Responsible for material submittals for Fire Protection & Plumbing system to the Consultant for approval.
• Coordinate with project schedule in organizing Purchase Order, arrange timely delivery of all equipment and materials.

• Assist Project Manager and site personnel in planning, execution, and completion of projects.

• Prepare documentation and carry out testing and commissioning, combined services testing for TOP/CSC.
• Handover of completed work activities with as built drawings and O&MM to respective authorities or clients to in timely manner and delivery with desired quality standards.

Requirements

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
• Min 5 years Singapore-based FP & Plumbing experiences in Construction Industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience and relevant knowledge in FP & Plumbing calculations including pump sizing, hydraulic calculation, tank sizing and more.
• Experience of design and coordination skill.
• Familiar to fire code requirement with knowledge of basic design and necessary submission for tender bidding and construction, TOP and CSC.

• Proactive and willing to learn and take on new challenges.
• Experience in Consultant Company preferred.
