• Carry out troubleshooting and corrective action of instrument breakdown or failures to find out the root cause and best solution in order to restore the functionality get back to normal

· Handling various projects under the Service Division and technical support for projects under maintenance.

· Design Building Management System based on Technical Specifications

· Program equipment (ACMV, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.) under BMS based on the sequence of operation.

· Design and implement the graphical user interface, reports, and dashboards based on project requirements.

· Support Testing and commissioning of BMS projects

Key Requirements

You will be a key member of the R&D Digital Translation team established under the Singapore Maritime Institute. The R&D Digital Translation team develops and operates digital and cyber products and translates R&D projects to real world implementations for the maritime industry.

You will collaborate with various project managers, solutions architect and infra engineers to deliver leading-edge digital solutions and services to meet the business requirements of the maritime community. You are pro-active, self-motivated and resourceful team member with good technical or digital knowledge and possess strong influencing and people handling skills. You are constantly looking at new ways to apply digital technologies to meet business needs and can handle multiple projects concurrently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, build and maintain the software development pipeline automation with related toolsets to enable CI/CD

2. Design and implement the infrastructure and operating environment for container-based microservices that will meet the agreed high availability, performance and security requirements

3. Utilise native cloud tools to monitor the health and performance of the production and UAT environments, and automate the alerts as part of the incident reporting framework

4. Work closely with development teams and other internal teams to ensure that solutions are designed in accordance to requirements to facilitate scale/performance, security and operability

5. Work closely with on-site Tenant Facility Management (TFM) team to supervise day-to-day cloud operations which include activities such as regular patching and system configuration

6. Support and ensure that the software releases are aligned with MPA's internal software release and deployment process

7. Facilitate and support troubleshooting or root cause analysis of platform issues or incidents

8. Proactively monitor and identify opportunities for automation, process improvement and architecture simplification

9. Participate in project planning and management activities

Requirements

1. Background in IT/Computer Science/Computer Engineering or relevant discipline

2. At least 2 to 3 years of working experience in DevOps automation, containerisation and orchestration

3. Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services and related cloud services (e.g. Azure DevOps, hands-on experience using Azure Administrative portal). Certification(s) in Microsoft Azure (e.g. MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalent) and Amazon Web Services will be an advantage.

4. Strong knowledge and experience in software development automation tools

5. Strong scripting skills (e.g. powershell, cli, python)

The responsibilities of this position are, and not limited to, as follows:

• Monitor and supervise Engineers / foremen, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.

We are looking for a motivated System Engineer to join our team! As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our System team in all aspects of the development, testing and implementation of our in-house integrated solutions. Project phases involved include design reviews, lab setup, Factory Acceptance Test, installation, checkout, integration and on-site acceptance test, training and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support System Lead in System design, development and project delivery
• Responsible for System documentation
• Formulate / revise specifications for purchase of IT equipment (e.g. servers, switches) and software, ensure successful and timely delivery by contractor

Description of Responsibilities and Duties

1. Plan and execute corrective/preventive maintenance on facility equipment and plant equipment to ensure good efficiency and availability. Generate equipment and facilities related records/reports/ documentations on above activities.
2. Implement TPM strategy. Responsible for tracking machinery spare parts usage, maintaining adequate quantity, critical parts requirement, spare parts management, continuous improvement, and ISO audits.
3. Support EHSS related topics, ensure site is in full compliance with Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) and Security regulation and policy.
4. Resolve various equipment performance issues internally before approaching equipment vendor. Review equipment log and technician feedback for quick solutions.
5. Liaise and co-ordinate jobs to be performed by contractors for facilities and plant equipment. Ensure work completion and achieve high standard of work.
6. Perform site EHSS inspection/audits and ensure that all corrective / preventive actions are close in timely manner. Responsible for internal/external audits and EHSS activities.
7. Interpret electrical diagrams and mechanical drawings for equipment troubleshooting with at least 3 years hand-on experience
8. Evaluate existing/new contractors’ performance and negotiate with them on quotations and service level.

Knowledge:

• Hands on experience in mixer and milling equipment maintenance is an advantage.
• Knowledge in TMP, Equipment FMEA is an advantage.
• Knowledge in facilities maintenance (Electrical, water, AC) is an advantage.
• EHS competence, familiar with ISO45001 & ISO14000 is a plus.

Skills:
