Equipment Maintenance

• Creation and updating of equipment card, service contracts and service calls in SAP system.

• Review quotations provided and check offered prices against past purchase records.
• Update the price lists when necessary.
• Communicate and negotiate with vendors for improved purchase terms, includingreduction in price.
• Process requisitions into purchase orders using the SAP system and any change orderswithin 24 hours upon receipt of final confirmation from initiating party/user.
• Ensure that all purchase orders are approved by the appropriate authority on a daily basis.

• Undertake research on and evaluate existing and new suppliers
• Contact suppliers to resolve price, quality, delivery or invoice issues

Relationship Management

• Work collaboratively and negotiate and engage with stakeholders and suppliers regarding new projects, supplies and initiatives and advise of impact of change on purchasing and production activities
• Stay current and up to date on any changes that may affect the supply and demand of needed products and materials and advise others of any impact
• Support product change requests and review and communicate the impact on capacity plans

REQUIREMENTS:

• Diploma in Business, Supply Chain or any relevant disciplines
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, preferably within the food industry.
• Possess strong negotiation, analytical, and relationship-building skills
• Proficiency in market analysis and inventory management.

• Salary Package: Up to $2,800 + AWS + Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders.
• Track orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Coordinate with internal divisions to ensure received items meet quantity and quality standards.
• Verify vendor invoices against purchase orders and delivery orders.
• Address product quality concerns and inconsistencies with suppliers.
• Monitor warehouse stock levels to ensure adequate inventory.
• Maintain up-to-date records of suppliers, goods, costs, and lead times.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding documentation (e.g., MSDS, product specifications).
• Conduct weekly inventory checks.
• Participate in the annual stock take.
• Perform any ad hoc duties assigned by the supervisor.
