• Keep abreast of changing carbon landscape, including policies or trends to inform business initiatives and to meet evolving market demands
• Planning and conducting verification activities including assessment of sampling methodology, data and control activities, conducting risk assessment and determining materiality and overall audit confidence level
• Represent company in relevant events, webinars, etc., as subject matter experts

Priority Criteria:

1. Completed verification for Singapore carbon tax (at least 5 projects in past 3 years); OR
2. Completed reasonable level of assurance for GHG projects (at least 5 projects in past 3 years, e.g. Verra VCS, Gold Standard, GCC, CORSIA); OR
3. both scenarios adding up to 5 projects in past 3 years.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in related fields will be preferred with at least 3 - 5 years’ experience
• Auditor with ISO standard knowledge in carbon preferred
• Knowledge of industrial GHG related processes and measurement and the potential GHG emission sources in order to understand the ER, and draw accurate and meaningful conclusions from observations, facility documentation and relevant literature
• Knowledge of international GHG standards (i.e. IPCC guidelines on treatment of emissions sources, GHG Protocol) and Singapore’s M&R regulations and guidance
• Experience in identifying misstatements and non-conformities in ER
• Effective communication of the verification process, requests and findings to the client
• The ability to assess the scope of verification activities required in order to reach a reasonable level of assurance and assign sufficient resources to the verification team
• The ability to assess the skills of verification team members in order to assign appropriate verification activities and functions to team members, and contract appropriate technical experts where necessary
• The ability to oversee and manage the verification process and reporting, having sufficient knowledge to assess the quality and completeness of verification activities performed
• The knowledge to assess compliance with verification regulations and guidelines, including activities performed by the verification team members including technical experts (if applicable)
• Candidates who have performed verification of Scope 1 GHG emissions on at least three (3) completed verifications at a reasonable level of assurance over the past four (4) years will be preferred

Primary Function:

The Singpass team builds Singapore’s digital identity system. This includes various personal authentication protocols, data sharing tools, and corporate identity systems through Corppass. The mission of the Anti-Fraud team is to minimize the number of compromised Singpass accounts, and the damage done with them. This includes live monitoring for suspicious login behaviour, longer term fraud analytics, and collaborating with partners take action on compromised accounts.

What you will be working on:

• Work with partners to understand the evolving problems and strategize about what data and techniques would be needed to solve them.
• Lead discussions with business stakeholders to establish business requirements, evaluate technical feasibility and data availability required.
• Work with large, complex datasets and applying advanced analytical methods to build machine learning models and deploy the most appropriate solution.
• Build and develop machine learning-based models e.g. recommendation engine(s), predictive models and track their effectiveness.
• Apply the use of machine learning techniques (e.g. deep learning, neural networks, etc..) to improve the current analytics capability.
• Provide inputs to the design and development of an integrated data model to allow analysis across multiple structured and unstructured datasets.
