I- Basic Function/General Scope of Work
You are required to perform your duties in strict accordance with the company’s instructions. Directing all operational aspects including distribution, customer service, officers’ relationship, administration and mounting of new projects in accordance with the company's objectives. Providing training, coaching, development and motivation for security personnel. Planning and implementing comprehensive security strategies. Controlling the security operations budget, monitoring expenses, and documenting processes. Gathering security intelligence and implementing preventative measures.
II- Responsibilities
✓ Act as a point of contact between officers, clients and deployment manager. This includes collation on guards’ request off day, site logistics etc.
✓ Assists deployment manager for deployment of manpower, e.g., daily cover of shortfall and events. This includes calling officers at site to check on their reporting timing and presence.
✓ Developing and implementing security policies, protocols and procedures
✓ Ensure on manpower deployment planning align with government regulations such as deploying officer not more than 12 hours shift, deploying officers with notification to PLRD has been completed, deploying officers to site according to client’s contract specs. and etc.
✓ Conduct training and/or arranging training and supervise security officers not limited to security exercises such as Fire Drill, participating in SCDF CERT audit and etc.
✓ Attend client meetings to determine operational needs/gather client feedback
✓ Close any operational gaps after meeting and this include submitting minutes of meeting accordance to client contract specs.
✓ Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events
✓ Coordinate staff when responding to emergencies and alarms
✓ Review reports on incidents and breaches, includes investigate and resolve issues
✓ Create reports for management on security status
✓ Analyze data to form proposals for improvements (e.g., implementation of new technology)
✓ Control budgets for security operations and monitor expenses
✓ Perform site visits during business hour and silent hour, not limited meeting client contract specs.
✓ Perform Red Teaming Exercise, Table-Top Exercise, Security Risk Assessment, Threats Vulnerability Risk Assessment and etc.
✓ Achieve goal in creating and preserve an environment where employees, visitors and property are safe and well-protected through regular training provided to ground officers.
✓ Furnish monthly report in accordance to client contract specs.
✓ Attend & resolve officers’ grievances including in disciplining officers’ misconduct not limited to issuing warning letter
✓ Ensure ground officers diligent register their attendance through iRep
✓ Create iRep Log in ID for officers
III- Requirements and skills
➢ Proven experience as branch manager or similar position or higher
➢ Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV)
➢ Experience in reporting and emergency response planning
➢ Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures
➢ Solid understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis
➢ Working knowledge of MS Office
➢ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
➢ Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
➢ Committed and reliable
