Business Development Manager
Cremer Sustainable Foods is a plant-based product contract manufacturer.
We are looking for a passionate and motivated individual to join our team.This customer-facing role aims at developing and growing the company’s business activities & revenue from new market segments and channels.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
· Source for clients to purchase our plant-based proteins.
· Source for brand partners who we can produce for as contract manufacturer.
· Source for corporate clients who we can produce whole veggie-based products for on a contract basis.
· Being part of the investment team, investing in alternative proteins and sustainable companies.
· Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage opportunities in business processes and contribute to the organization’s short and long-term business goals.
· Evaluate findings, prepare reports and make recommendations to management about the business and financial viability of alternative opportunities.
· Collects feedback and competitor data from his/her market and gives feedback to the business line, solution creation and product life cycle management
· Planning and preparing presentations to clients.
· Able to do product costings for price strategy
· Devising strategies on how to best approach clients.
· Seeking out new business opportunities.
· Identifying trends and develop ground-breaking ideas to enhance sales strategies and operations.
· Analyse results and improve overall processes.
Requirement:
· Possess a degree in Business or relevant field.
· You have food experience and is willing to learn more about the plant-based and alternative protein industry, preferably from food service sector.
· Capable and versatile with PowerPoint presentation preparations.
· You have exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively internally and with external organizations.
· Direct experience in sales and marketing is encouraged.
