RESPONSIBILITIES

The main responsibilities of this role are to ensure effective and efficient coordination of our Pool vessel operations. Liaise closely with the Pool partners, Fleet Technical Managers, Commercial, Bunker, Claims and Controls teams to identify opportunities within operations for effective fleet performance monitoring and management. Influence the fleet operations team and other associated stakeholders in aligning with the vessel performance management goals and objectives in optimizing TCE. You must have an interest in labour policies to support SNEF lab’s research and sense-making work to drive SNEF’s efforts in developing and promoting progressive workplace practices, enhance labour market flexibility and advance tripartism.

Your responsibilities include:

• Sense-make and analyse strategic labour policies or recommendations to address issues faced by employers or specific groups of employees in the labour market identified through the research or forecast of labour trends.
• Monitor and interpret global and local trends, as well as socioeconomic data of the labour markets, with a view of creating novel upstream policy solutions through labour policies.
• Study and develop models to project and explain future national manpower scenarios, intelligence, and other driving forces and critical uncertainties shaping Singapore’s economic and manpower environment through partnerships with academic institutions, tripartite partners and government agencies.
• Design and conduct research and analysis to evaluate and forecast employers’ position on identified labour guidelines and regulations.
• Adopt methodologies to enhance policy development and stakeholders’ engagement.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Social Sciences (political science, sociology, organisation psychology, etc) or other related disciplines. Fresh graduates are welcomed. An interest in international labour and experience in planning regional/ international events is a plus.

• Be proficient in applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, Tableau/ PowerBI, Canva, etc
• Versatile and resourceful and strong in stakeholders’ management

The Communications Planning Manager plays a crucial role within the APAC Colgate-Palmolive account, directly supporting the IMC Director in developing and executing innovative, data-driven media strategies that drive business growth across the APAC region. Key Responsibilities:

• Support in Development of Strategic Communications Planning: Providing comprehensive support in all aspects of strategic communications planning and campaign development. This includes developing presentations, conducting research & analysis, managing day-to-day client communications and project timelines.
• Co-create Campaign: Co-create media plans across various channels, ensuring alignment with Colgate-Palmolive's marketing objectives. Ensure consistent application of division strategies and best practices, shaping local plans that account for hub business requirements and nuances. This includes audience and media planning, media innovation, budget management, and campaign tracking to derive actionable insights.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with the broader APAC Hub team, including offline and online planners and Subject Matter Experts (Audience, Social & Influencer, Programmatic, Search, eCommerce), to ensure seamless campaign execution across markets. Maintain strong communication by providing regular updates on campaign progress and performance.
• Media Expertise: Demonstrate a strong understanding of the media landscape, across paid, owned, earned regardless of online or offline. Stay up-to-date on the latest media trends and technologies to inform media strategies.
• Research & Analysis: Utilize research tools and platforms to gather consumer behaviour insights and media performance data. Translate these insights into actionable recommendations for campaign planning.
• Stakeholder Management: Liaise with client and agency partners (creative, digital, influencer, shopper, and PR agencies) to ensure an integrated and cohesive campaign plan.

What you’ll bring:

• Media Planning Fundamentals: Solid understanding of media planning principles, including laws of growth, media sufficiency, cross-channel planning and audience understanding.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate both media and consumer behaviour insights from research tools and platforms. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools is essential.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in media planning and execution, preferably within an agency environment. Experience with FMCG clients is a plus.
• Experience with media planning tools and software.
• Multi-market Experience is essential.

- Responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Audit Associates and Seniors

- Portfolio management and provide audit services to external audit clients
