Responsibilities:
- Identify, evaluate, and source raw materials, chemicals, and equipment from suppliers, ensuring quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, terms, and conditions to secure favorable agreements.
- Conduct cost analysis and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and strategic procurement initiatives.
- Collaborate with quality control and assurance teams to ensure that procured materials meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee inventory levels, optimize stock levels, and manage procurement lead times to minimize supply chain disruptions.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards, including sustainability and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Electrical / mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- At least 1 – 2 years of purchasing / procurement experience in chemical products
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work well in a team
