- Conduct market analysis to identify new suppliers, emerging trends, and cost-saving opportunities, ensuring the procurement of high-quality, durable parts at competitive prices.
- Coordinate the ordering process for spare parts, ensuring all required documentation (purchase orders, delivery schedules, invoices) is accurate and processed in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all procured engineering spare parts meet the required quality standards and specifications, collaborating with technical teams to confirm suitability and compliance.
- Work closely with logistics teams to manage shipping, customs clearance, and delivery schedules, ensuring that spare parts arrive on time to prevent operational downtime.
- Prepare and manage procurement budgets, track expenses, and ensure that all procurement activities align with financial objectives, achieving cost efficiencies where possible.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and vendors, ensuring good communication, prompt resolution of issues, and ongoing supplier performance monitoring.
- Ensure all procurement activities comply with maritime industry regulations, international trade laws, and company policies, including safety and environmental standards related to the spare parts procured.
Requirements:
- Minimum degree in business management or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement and sourcing
