Main purpose of the job

The Global Sustainability Lead – Circularity plays a crucial role in implementing procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on sustainability. Providing leadership to the Procurement Sustainability teams globally, this role promotes best practices across all regions and drives Sustainiability initiatives in dedicated areas. A key responsibility is the execution of sustainable category strategies. This role also focuses on building strong stakeholder relationships and managing supplier partnerships, with a specific focus on sustainability. Important too is the management and tracking of sustainability-specific plans and budgets. Ultimately, this role supports Procurement's operational excellence and the continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices, aligning these with Asahi's overall strategy.
