Job Description
Main Responsibilities
· Management of all logistic matters with reference to both imports and exports
· Ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods
· Monitor all deliveries for stock replacement for operations
· Manage and implement smooth warehouse operations incoming and outgoing system through computerized administration and retrieval systems
· Responsible for all planned preventative maintenance, refurbishment work and projects
· Source for vendors and contractors to evaluate quotations
· Follow up on outstanding repair and maintenance work
· Coordinate with other departments internally, on stock availability, delivery schedules and maintain tight inventory control
· Generate purchase orders and maintain the filing system of purchasing records
· Conduct regular review cost effectiveness and performance of suppliers and vendors
· Ensure procurement procedures and policies are followed
· Carry out ad-hoc assignments as instructed by management
Requirements
· N/O level, or Certificate/Diploma or equivalent in Purchasing/Materials/Supply Chain Management
· Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
· Pleasant disposition and excellent interpersonal skills
· Positive work attitude
· Good administrative and problem solving skills
· Able to handle multi-tasking and work pressure
· Possess a Class 3 driving license would be an advantage
